About the home

Aura Holiday Villa is set in an exclusive group of eight detached holiday villas in the Coral Bay area of Pafos, Cyprus.It is owned by the Karayiannis family who wish to offer traditional Cypriot family hospitality to your entire family in a relaxed and warm atmosphere.

This holiday villa has been built metres away from a quiet, secluded sandy beach and is close to the traditional Greek village of Kissonerga. It has its own private swimming pool and balcony, which enjoys magnificent and unobstructed views of the Mediterranean Sea and the local countryside. Aura Holiday Villa can offer many advantages to all members of the family on holiday in Cyprus, and children are especially welcome. The coastal road is close to Aura Holiday Villa, the bus stop is 100 metres away, and gives easy access to the popular sandy beach of Coral Bay (5 minutes by bus) and the excitement of Kato Pafos' night life (10 minutes by bus).

The Paphos region

Paphos, the birthplace of Aphrodite, and ancient capital of Cyprus, Paphos has rich heritage and culture. Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love choose Paphos to be her home as she found the beauty of the area to be unmatched. Its age old history and archaeological treasures have merited the towns naming as a world heritage site by UNESCO.

Located on the South-West of the island, it is arguable that Paphos has the best climate all year round. Heat does not reach intolerable levels and winters are milder and shorter than other regions. It has been traditionally popular with families and older people, making it a year round tourist destination, unlike other places in Cyprus.

There are many ways for you to enjoy the way of life in Pafos: Take pleasure in a day of shopping in the traditional market in the old town where you will be amazed at the abundance of shops of all sizes selling all sorts of local products. Take a walk along one of the many sandy or pebble beach’s and admire the breathtaking crystal-clear blue waters of the Mediterranean. Visit Tombs of the Kings, St. Pauls Pillar, the Mosaics or one of the numerous archaeological and cultural sites. Spend a day in the beautiful and unspoiled Akamas National Park, and live the splendour of Cyprus wildlife and plantations close-up.

The Coral Bay area

Aura Holiday Villa is ideally situated next to a sandy beach and close to the traditional Greek village of Kissonerga. This pretty picturesque village is within walking distance and is well known for its warmth and hospitality to foreigners. It offers many good tavernas, traditional coffee shops, supermarkets and other local amenities.

The coastal road is close to Aura Holiday Villa and gives easy access to the popular sandy beach of Coral Bay (5 minutes by bus), the fun and excitement of Kato Paphos' night life (10 minutes by bus) and all the sights and shops of Paphos town (15 minutes by bus).

Fantastic holiday, the accommodation was far in excess of what was anticipated, both inside and outside. The views from the villa were second to none and watching the sunset is to be highly recommended. Everybody is treated as a member of the family. Cannot recommend it highly enough (but want to keep this a secret). Have already booked for two weeks in October.
