About the home

Bay View Villa is located in the heart of Coral Bay with views of the bay and the mediterranean sea. There are also stunning views from the rear of the villa of the mountains. The first floor offers 2 large bedrooms one with double bed and the other with 2 single divan beds. Both bedrooms open onto large balconies with stunning sea and mountain views. There is a bathroom with shower. On the ground floor there is both a sofa bed and a futon bed if more accommodation is required. It is of a spacious open plan design, with ample seating space and has a fully equipped modern kitchen. There is a downstairs WC. Patio doors lead out to the large private swimming pool at the rear of the property, with landscaped gardens and adequate patio furniture. The villa is fully air conditioned and has marble flooring throughout. This exclusive villa is in a development of 12 and is a 5 minute walk to the famous coral bay beach, shops and restaurants.

We welcome bookings with young families. For an additional charge we can arrange high chairs and cots. The villa comes equipped with a bottle sterliser, a bottle warmer, a plastic bib and a small selection of child toys. The location is quiet with plenty of room for the cot to be erected in the main bedroom or in the second bedroom.

There is lounge seating for 8 and dining seating for 6.

The fitted kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven, grill, kettle, microwave, toaster, iron and ironing board.

There is a TV and a connected DVD player, a CD Hi Fi system with a selection of CDs.

For the kids there is a Play Station console with a selection of games.

There is also a selection of books to read as you enjoy the cyprus sun.

A 25% deposit is required in British pounds sterling to secure the booking with the balance paid by cheque 2 months before the arrival date. An additional 100.00 returnable damages deposit is also paid at this stage and returned in full 2 weeks after the departure date of the holiday provided there are no damages. All moneys should be made payable to Mr S Woodrow. Reasonable use of the air conditioning is included in the rate. There will be an additional charge for excessive use.
Baby cots and high chairs can be provided at an extra cost if required.
We have local English representativees looking after the villa and are available 24 hrs a day

The Paphos region

Paphos has 3 golf courses close by and a very good water park ( closed during the winter)

The Coral Bay area

Bay View Villa is located on an elevated site overlooking the famous clear blue waters of coral bay. The bay has one of the finest stretches of golden sandy beaches in the area. Coral bay is situated 8km to the west of Paphos town and the beautiful harbour of kato paphos where the medieval fortress is worth a visit as well as the Tomb of the kings. In the hills overlooking coral bay is the village of Peyia with its village square and exellent tavernas. Futher west is the wildlife santuary of the Akamas and the famous sea caves area is nearby. For those looking for adventure coral bay waters are ideal for snorkelling,banana boating, and other water sports. Coral bay is well served with buses and taxis into Paphos and the picturesque little fishing harbour of kato paphos where fresh fish is served each evening and the traditional Cypriot Meze.Coral bay has a good selection of restaurants,bars,shops,doctors surgery,bakery, and several supermarkets.

Cyprus is easy to reach from the UK and Europe with an average flight time of just over 4 hours. You can fly directly into Paphos airport or you can fly into Larnaca airport and take a 1hr 30min motorway drive to Paphos. The Villa is 30 minutes from Paphos Airport.

Their are many tour operaters offering cheap flights to Cyprus. Companys like flymonarch,xl airlines,Cyprus Airways,KLM Royal Dutch,BMI,British Airways,Lufthansa,Airtours and Czech Airlines. Depending on what time you decide to book there are some very competitive deals.

Car rental is available at competitive rates in both Airports. Travel supermarket is a very good comparison web site for car hire with some very good deals. With the vechicle available from the airport and most of the paperwork already done.
There is a quick and efficient Taxi service from Paphos airport to the Villa. Expect to pay up to 30.00cy pound each way which may make car hire a more economic option.
Final directions to the villa will be forwarded before your arrival date.

The villa is in an excellent location in a very peaceful area yet it is still within walking distance to the beach and the restaurants and shops. There was also a local bus service which stopped within close proximity to the villa (approximately 10 minutes walking distance). This is a bonus if you dont hire a car.
The villa was very clean and spacious with everything you need for a comfortable stay including a beautiful pool and patio area.

We visited Bay View at the end of October 2009 and the weather was not kind to us. This did not stop us from having a lovely relaxing week. The villa is more than well equipped, well situated for local supermarkets, restaurants, beach and amusements. Something for everyone. I would recommend hiring a car (4x4 is best) so that you can explore the local area as we did if the weather is not so good. Plenty to see and do for all ages.

The owner provided excellent customer service - very friendly and informative.

The villa is close to the fantastic beach and the bars and restaurants at Coral Bay. Many to recommend but would recommend Yiannis in Kathikas for good food, and warm Cypriot hospitality.

Overall, a great place for a quiet break - highly recommended

Our Summer Holiday stay at Bay View Villa.

My family (2 adults and two girls aged 17 and 12) spent a wonderful 2 weeks holiday at Bay View Villa and loved every minute of our stay. The Villa is very clean and well furnished ..really a home away from home! We loved the beautiful plants and and a magnificent pool that we all made use of, and which was regularly cleaned. We had BBQ's by the pool (there is all the necessary equipment you need) and there are quite a few very good Supermarkets nearby. The location is ideal as it is in a quiet residential area but near enough for the gorgeous sandy beach and going to the Coral Bay main 'strip' where you will find a great choice of restaurants, bars and entertainment. Although you don't really need to hire a car, we hired one as we went out quite a lot it was far too hot to walk!! All in all, a super time to be had, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely love to go back.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

This is our second stay at this villa and it was still as lovely as the first time. Really happy with everything, lots of places to go and a lovely beach very close to the villa. Yummy food at all the places we visited in Coral bay and friendly staff who were very child friendly (children of 10,3 and 15 months).

Hi, We have just returned from a fantastic week in Cyprus staying in this Villa. The Villa was clean, tidy and definately a 'home from home'. We would not hesitate in booking it again for another visit. Customer service was very good in all area;s of the booking, and Dave ( who was looking after the pool) was really helpful and full of suggestions for places to visit. The location is great but we were glad that we had a car as it made getting out and about really easy. It's only a 10 min walk to the town , but in the heat it can be pretty hard going so the car came in handy. We drove to Viklari which is a beautufil hill top resturant that is a must , and Laatchi is a lovely place to chill and have a cold beer in one of the bars with sofas on the beach.

Coral Bay and Cyprus as a whole is a wonderful place for a nice relaxing
