About the home

The villa is at the end of a cul de sac so has no passing road or foot trafic and has no properties overlooking the pool area so is very private and quiet, It also has unbroken sunshine from morning to night

Situated on on the most beautiful cost line in Cyprus and close to the ancient kingdom of Akamas the villa is fully air conditioned and equipped to a very high standard ideal for families, couples or friends in a quiet location yet very close to the night life ( two minute walk ).

The villa is decorated tastefully with bright and airy neutral colours. It is designed over two floors with the ground floor housing the spacious open plan living and dining area that open up to an outdoor dining area and private pool. the first floor has the master bedroom and a twin room that open on to a huge terrace with stunning sea views

The Paphos region

The ancient capitol of Paphos is a short drive or bus ride away (about every 15 minutes) .The harbour at Paphos attracts visitors all year round, It is lovely to stroll along the sea front where you will fibnd a selection of taverners,shops and restaurants. The view is breathtaking in the early evening when the sun is going down.
The casle at Paphos is also situated near the harbour and is well worth a visit it is open daily between 9 and 5.

The Akamas Penninsular is beautiful, here you will find the baths of Aphroditewhere you can swim in crystal clear warm water, The area is perfect for naturalists as it is famous for its abundance of flora and faunaand boasting over 100 types of birds, mamals and reptilesas well as many butterflies.

The Tomb of the kings is a must see archaeological site and famous for the beautiful mosaics.

A visit to Cyprus would not be complete wuthout a visit to Latchi A beautiful fishing village just to the north where you can enjoy the relaxed surroudings and lovely traditional restaurants along the waterfront , You can take a boat from the marina to the blue lagoon.

Hotel facilities are available at the 5star Coral beach hotel where day passes can be purchased .

The property is about half an hour from Paphos airport by taxi. The transfer can be arranged by us and costs around 45 euros

Hire cars are also available which can be pre-booked and collected at Paphos airport.
Driving in Cyprus is on the right hand side of the road.

“Well worth another stay and we will recommend to friends” Subject: Coral Bay Paphos Location: Paphos, Cyprus, Europe Title: Well worth another stay and we will recommend to all our friends. ID#: 122576806 Myself brother and sister in law booked Villa Lucas for an extended holiday to escape the British winter. We couldn't be happier in this beautiful place everything about the villa,the surrounding area ,the closeness of all the amenities etc are superb. We cannot understand one of the previous reviews because we cannot fault this villa. The villa has everything we need for our long stay and i have slept much better here than in my own home probably due to the peaceful location of the villa. It also enjoy's a very private position and is not overlooked making it an ideal spot for lying around the pool topping up the tan.A brand new bbq was waiting for us and has been used many times over our stay even on Xmas day and of cause is cleaned by ourselves after each use (we wouldn't expect the cleaners to do this) All in all a lovely villa which we are still enoying and don't really want to leave in March but we would certainly come back for another long stay and would recommend this villa to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday.

“Enjoyed every minute of our stay, not long enough 10 days !” The holiday was just what we needed after a long winter and a bout of illness. After our flight to Cyprus the hire car was waiting as arranged. We were greeted at the villa and shown how everything works. There was food in the fridge to start off our stay so we were able to eat and rest after the journey. everything you needed was in the villa. we had a great time. the villa was idealy situated for touring the island, although I must say we stayed round the pool alot of the time, or just walked up to the strip. We will book to stay again. Loved every minute of the holiday.

“An Ideal holiday home from home - loved it.” We found Villa Lucas an ideal holiday villa. Everything we wanted for a relaxing holiday. The villa was clean and tidy and very well maintained. Chris, on behalf of the management, was very helpful with details re the villa and surrounding area. He gave us his mobile number and we knew that we could ring him at anytime (which never needed to). Coral Bay is certainly an area of Cyprus we would go back to and Villa Lucas would be the place we would chose to stay in.

“Brilliant villa and holiday - felt like home away from home!” First of all I can't believe the previous review is about the same villa! We thought the villa was perfect, a great location - close to everything you need, walking distance from the shops and restaurants. Maybe the villa could do with a lick of paint but it was very comfortable and had everything you need. It really felt like a home not a holiday rental which for us made it a really great relaxing holiday. The management company (although we didn't need them) were very helpful and we knew we could contact them if we had any problems. We spent most of the daytime relaxing by the pool and wandered down to the main strip in the evenings for dinner. Would recommend the Italian restaurant opposite the bank - we went there about 3/4 times in a week. Paphos port and the Tombs of the Kings were also worth a visit. Closer to the villa, we would recommend a trip up the road to Peyia - a lovely little mountain village with a few shops and a nice bakery but the views back down to coral bay are amazing! Overall a lovely holiday, after visiting other areas of Cyprus we would only ever return to Coral Bay - we really didn't want to leave and in fact have already booked our next holiday at Villa Lucas in May!

“Key Fob Headache - Property needs redecorating - Unfit BBQ...” We stayed at Villa Lucas in September 2011 for two weeks. Upon arrival we had no issues with the meet and greet service provided by taxi. We met the property management person Chris at the villa for the keys and the brief introduction on how the villa runs as well as rules/regs. The first problem we encounter is how worn the property is but we took this as to be expected i.e. wear and tear, but the photographs shown as advertised were obviously taken not long after the property was fitted out, approx three to four years. The second issue was the barbecue being dirty and rusty, again not as advertised because you would expect it to be in clean working order. I promptly spoke to the management team (Chris) who informed me that it is not their responsibility to clean the barbecue on the turn around. I was somewhat concerned that if they were not going to clean it then basically I would have to clean up the previous guest's dirt. Unfortunately I didn't and why should I at a £2000 outlay for the villa so we had no clean barbecue during our stay. The third issue is beware if you are booking for two weeks as this does not included a mid stay clean even though Andy Mills told me it does. I spoke with Chris (management team) who informed me they have never done this for Villa Lucas in the three years they have been managing the property. We pay for two weeks and a mid stay clean should be included as there would be two turn around cleans if the villa was booked by two different guests at a week each consecutively. Our main concern is the key fob because this is simply not advertised. Had it been advertised we would not have stayed here for the following reasons: • The key fob cannot be removed from the front/main access door key; it is contained together by a metal welded ring. This key fob when inserted activates and powers the villa lights, TV, cooker, etc. • The problem we encountered is that on a particular night my wife stayed in and I went out, obviously the key fob she required to power the villa but that also meant her staying up until I returned because the access door key was attached to it. I spoke to Andy Mills about this and he told me that he would instruct his management team to supply a spare set of keys to which this was misleading as we never had any spare keys issued. I spoke with the owner and management team a number of times one saying one thing and the other something different. • Upon entering and entering the villa there is no light as the villa lights are not powered until you insert the key fob. Can you imagine how awkward it is to put a key in the front door and turn off the alarm in the pitch black of night, crazy it was for you have to feel your way for to the locks, alarm buttons and key fob socket. I must say on Villa Lucas behalf that they did replace the pool net but why did I have to ask for this to be done, it should of be done on turn around. Unfortunately Villa Lucas was quite frankly a most disappointing holiday mainly because of the misleading information which in our opinion was deliberately done to keep you happy at the present time as you will be gone home soon.
