The Paphos region

Paphos Town approximately 13 kilometres away, was once the capital of the island is now included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage. The remains of villas, palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs mean that the town is of exceptional architectural and historic value. The well preserved mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings are probably the biggest cultural draw with further archaeological discoveries continually being made. Ano Pafos on the cliff is the main administrative centre and residential district while Kato Pafos, by the sea, is the main tourist area built around the harbour and medieval port.
Mini golf, watersports and go-karting are all activities available in the immediate Coral Bay area. The Pafos Bird and Animal Park with its daily parrot shows and the Horse Riding Stables which cater for all ages and abilities are both within a 10 minute drive. Extend your exploring to encompass the town of Paphos and the list of available activities expands to include a snooker hall, bowling alley, waterpark, several Heritage sites, attractive harbour area and modern shopping facilities.
There are 3 golf courses; Tsada Golf Course, Secret Valley Golf Course and Aphrodite Hills Golf Course within approximately 40 minutes drive.
The Coral Bay area
Coral Bay is the well known beach resort for the Paphos district. This family oriented area has become a lively resort with plenty to offer in terms of amenities and activities. The centre of the resort is oly 250 metres away and features a wide selection of restaurants offering both Cypriot and International Cuisines, cafes, bars, shops, a choice of supermarkets, several banks, a chemist and a laundry.
The resort boasts two sandy beaches, the busier of the two being the popular Coral Bay Beach less than 1 kilometre from the villa. This sandy horseshoe shaped bay is honoured with a Blue Flag of the European Union. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire, watersports are on offer and there are two beach cafés providing refreshments. A little further along the coast is the quieter of the two beaches at Corallia Bay. Continue still further along the coast and you reach the natural rock caves of the area know locally as Sea Caves, an area which provides ideal snorkelling territory and is popular with local scuba diving schools.
For a taste of the more traditional head to the tiny fishing hamlet of St Georges from where you can enjoy some of the islands most memorable sunset views and dine at one of the small collection of family run tavernas. For nature lovers the start of the protected Akamas Peninsula is just to the north of the village. Or you can head to the hillside village of Peyia, located just a few kilometres inland from Coral Bay to sample a traditional Cypriot meze meal at one of its small selection of long established tavernas and village coffee shops.

Guestbook for Coral Bay Villa 3521
Loved the villa holiday compared to hotels. Much more laid back. No problems at all. Resort fab location to the villa. Will be booking shortly for the same resort so hopefully you can accomodate us.
Flanagan, Sept 2010
We had a wonderful vacation. The villa was in great shape and in a really good location. The website could probably undersells the appeal of the location to a certain extent, as we didn't realize until we got there how convenient it was to walk to the the restaurants & shops. Pat, who looked after the villa, was a huge help. He was very friendly and gave us several great recommendations for restaurants and general information. My suggestions for improvements would be to add a BBQ grill out by the pool area, and also to raise the villa price by a sufficient amount to include air conditioning in the summer months. We ended up purchasing the air conditioning for the two bedrooms, but it would have been more convenient to just include air in the entire package. But those are small things....overall it was a wonderful vacation and we'd definitely return to stay in the same villa. Thanks.

Within minutes of arriving we were greeted by a friendly face who told us about heating and air conditioning, local supermarkets and told us how we could get in touch should we have any queries. All in all our experience was great. We had a very relaxing holiday and found the villa a perfect base for visiting friends that live in Chlorakas and Paphos. We would cetainly have no hesitation in using your company or the villa again in the future. Many Thanks.

It was easy to find the property with a rented car and the instruction that had been given. The owners are very nice and helpful people. The villa is lovely. Bedrooms are big and nicely furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped, and we enjoyed making meals there. The living rooms are very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The pool area is very nice and a great place to really relax. We would definitely like to come back!
