The Paphos region
A little further afield but just a 15 minutes drive form the villas is the town of Paphos.
Paphos is included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage is easily accessible by car or local bus service.
Explore the historical sites of Tomb of The Kings, see the mosaics or even enjoy a stroll at night at Paphos harbour with its illuminated castle.
For Shopping enthusiasts, Kings Avenue Mall opened it's doors November 2013 and is the largest shopping mall in Cyprus.
For those looking for fine dining, you will be spoilt for choice in Paphos with numerous restaurants and taverns catering for local and international cuisines. Nightlife here is not too be forgotten boasting a huge selection of pavement cafes, chic cafe/bars, pubs and clubs both indoor and outdoor during the hotter summer nights to choose from.
A 25 minute drive will take you to Polis with its colourful and bustling village square that comes alive during the summer months, or if you prefer the beautiful pedestrianised promenade of Latchi harbour with a fine selection of fish restaurant to choose from is also 25 minutes by car.
Golfing enthusiasts need not be forgotten - with a choice of 3 18 hole golf courses all within a 45 minute drive.
Coral Bay is a popular beach resort and it is easy to see why. Here you will find an excellent selection of restaurants serving local and international cuisine, taverns, cafés, bars, various shops, supermarkets and banks.
Corallia Beach and Coral Bay are renowned for their beautiful shallow watered, sandy beaches and attract visitors and locals alike. For those of you who prefer exploring , the area has some breathtaking hidden coves stretching from Coral Bay to the spectacular Sea Caves area and reaching down to Agios Georgios.
The quieter fishing bay of Agios Georgios which is a five minute drive away from the centre of Coral Bay and is perfect for a spot of daytime snorkelling in the warm crystal clear Mediterranean waters . Offering views of the western coastline and Akamas Nature Reserve, you can relax and enjoy the picturesque setting , visit the Church of Agios Georgios( St George) or perhaps have a meal at one of the handful of local restaurants specialising in Cypriot cuisine or fresh sea food.
The local area also offers go Karting, horse riding, mini golf and is home to the Pafos Zoo which offers a fantastic day out for the family.
The village of Peyia is also within easy reach a mere 5 minute drive from the centre of Coral Bay will bring you to the heart of this ever growing village.
In the village centre you will find the town hall, church, police station , banks and no village in Cyprus would be complete without the traditional coffee shops where the locals watch the world go by, play a game of backgammon and discuss the latest local news. A selection of small shops, taverns, restaurants, local eating houses and café/bars can also be found in Peyia.
