About the home

Villa Eleni is a pretty single storey property furnished to a high standard in a contemporary style with some antiques. Situated in Coral Bay at the end of a cul-de-sac in a gated village restricted to residents only, it has its own private pool, easy access to the beach (5 minutes on foot), mature gardens, reading library, Satellite TV and children's computer games. Entrance into the property is via a lovely patio with grapevine pergola and potted plants. The villa has been refurbished in March 2010 to a high standard. The pool and garden benefit from a high level of privacy.

There are no building works nearby to disrupt the peace and tranquillity.

It is situated between Paphos and the Akamas Peninsula National Park, offering easy access to all of the local amenities iincluding three of Cyprus' best quality golf courses. From the comfort of your own villa you can choose whether to have a lazy time relaxing round the pool or be more energetic and explore the history and sights of the island, go horse riding, sailing, diving, safaris in the Troodos Mountains and Akamas Peninsula and enjoy the vibrant night life and restaurants on Main Street. There is a convenient and frequent bus service to Paphos and surrounding villages which operates from near the beach which means that car hire is not essential.

There are several shops, tavernas, beach bars and a bank within easy reach. The Coral Bay Village is one of the most exclusive areas of development in Paphos in an ideal location the villa overlooks the coastline with spectacular sunsets.

The villa is excellently situated for a relaxing holiday around a well-maintained, secluded pool with sun-loungers, parasol and a shaded terrace in a private garden with orange, lemon and lime trees. The rear garden and pool area cannot be seen from the front of the villa. A short stroll will take you down to the best sandy beach in the area which is only a few minutes walk away. There are a number of luxury hotels, bars and restaurants in the immediate area (not audible from the villa) and a supermarket. A fifteen minute walk (3 minutes by car) would take you into Coral Bay Main Street where there is a wide choice of restaurants, bars and night life.

Satellite TV, CD and games console are available. The villa is also equipped with two BBQ's - one gas and one charcoal.

Baby equipment is available on request as well as additional maid service, welcome packs and shopping.

Facilities

Further details indoors:
Set on a single level for easy access and mobility it comprises a spacious, contemporary open plan layout with sofas to accommodate six people, six seater dining table and chairs. Patio doors lead out on to the terrace.

Although not specifically suitable to wheelchair users, the fact that the villa is on a single level it is suitable for those people less confident on their feet who are able to negotiate a few steps. Having no stairs means less worry for parents with young children or unsteady adults.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are discreetly separated from the living accommodation.

Taxi transfers to meet your flight and/or car hire can be arranged.

Extra maid service can be arranged.

Further details outdoors:
On an elevated position a few minutes walk from and with easy access to the sandy beach, the villa has its own private pool and sunbathing terrace. There are six loungers around the pool ensuring no arguments about who is getting the sun beds.

The spacious, covered terrace has another large table with six chairs from where you can dine al-fresco on those warm summer nights or just relax and enjoy a cool drink while watching magical sunsets and listening to the crickets and birds.

The Paphos region

Being within the famous Coral Bay beach area and only 15 minutes drive from Paphos town and the famous harbour, makes the villa the ideal location for a perfect holiday.

Some visits not to be missed are the Troodos Mountains with its pine scented forests, villages where time has stood still, and friendly hospitality at tavernas is the norm.

The Coral Bay area

The famous Paphos harbour overlooked by the medieval fortress where in the evening the tavernas that line the quayside come alive serving fresh fish and the traditional Cypriot 'Meze' is a 15 minute drive away.

The local hotel boasts the Olympic Pool used by Team GB and many sporting activites such as tennis, golf and scuba diving are available at the nearby beach within walking distance of the villa.

Kato Paphos, the main tourist area, is a 15-minute drive away with its pretty harbour surrounded by bars, tavernas and restaurants.There are many shops to browse around and further round the bay there are more bars and clubs many open until the early hours.

3 golf courses are situated in the area, one is a 20 minute drive away, the other 40 minutes away

A 15 minute drive brings you to the beautiful Akamas Peninsula, a very quiet and unspoilt Nature Reserve which is ideal for walking, fishing, painting, bird and wildlife watching or just lazing in one of the deserted coves or bays. At certain times of the year turtles swarm on to the beaches to lay their eggs.

The 5 Star Coral Bay Beach Resort Hotel is two minutes away with a multitude of facilites which is open to the public. It also has an Internet cafe - very useful for on-line check-in for flights and catching up on email.

Coral Bay is just a twenty five minute drive from Paphos Airport which is served by regular scheduled and charter airlines. This is a lovely villa, and furnished and cleaned to an exceptional standard. Attention to detail is excellent with a well stocked welcome pack. Located on a very quiet complex, yet close to the beach, shops, bars, tavernas etc. The owners were extremely helpful in the run up to our holiday, answering all our questions quickly, providing detailed info on local amenities and arranging a taxi from the airport. During our stay, the local managers of the villa popped round to make sure everything was ok, which gave confidence that if anything was needed, we knew who to contact. The whole experience of renting this villa was very smooth and we would definitely recommend and use this villa again. Downside: We only had 2 weeks! Thx."
