Akamas National Park
The Akamas peninsula is an area of great natural beauty and offers of an impressive diversity in flora and fauna.From the 128 endemic plant species found in Cyprus the 39 are found in the Akamas.Also the area is one of the few turtle nesting areas in the Mediterranean.With an area of about 230km2 and a precious ecology is considered the best Cyprrus has to display in terms of natural environment.

In the Akamas peninsula can be found pine, juniper and maquis forests, gorges with the most famous
the Avakas gorge, sand dunes,cliffs and sandy unspoiled beaches.The coastline of the Akamas peninsula is the largest coastal area remaining natural and untouched by development in Cyprus.

The Coral Bay area

The town of Paphos is included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage.

Peyia
Peyia evolved rapidly from a small rural community of traditional stone houses and narrow
snakelike roads into a modern town with all necessary amenities and with a substantial tourist
infrastructure. Built amphitheatrically on a hill overlooking the Coral Bay Area, lies about 4 kms inland from it and 15kms north-west of Paphos.
Above the hill in the north is the Peyia forest or”Pykni” as the locals refer to it, a very beautiful
pine-tree forest while on the west is the Akamas penisula hosting the Akamas National Park with its majestic unspoiled beauty of wild nature.

Coral Bay
Coral Bay Area developed around the beach of Coral Bay which is considered one of the best in Cyprus and definitely the best in Paphos. Sandy and long, changing mildly in depth from shallow to the deep, is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.In the area there are several bars and restaurants as well and a few hotels.Also there is a small residential area mostly with detached houses.An important but neglected archaeological site is there called “Palaiocastro” with remnants from the time the first Greek settlers came to Cyprus more than three millennia ago.

“beautiful location” the villa regina can be found in the beautiful town of coral bay , the villa is easily within walking distance to the bars , restaurants and shops but still secluded enough to ensure privacy . it was very clean and well equipped , the pool was clean and big enough to cater for our party of 4 adults and 4 teenagers , i would highly recommend coral bay and villa regina as a holiday destination .
