The Paphos region
Paphos stands proud on the west cost of Cyprus, offering over 330 days of sunshine each year. Paphos town is a busy area and offers plenty to see and do for everyone. The Kings Avenue Shopping Mall opened in November 2013 and hosts a parade of shops, including some well known British names.
The scenery around the district is stunning, lemon and orange groves fill the air with a citrus hew. Village life is so laid back, even the goats just potter around without a care in the world, crossing the road when it suits them! The area has an abundance of religious buildings which are open for viewing, and you'll always find a winery to take a wee taster in, when it takes your fancy.
Paphos now has a British brewing company located in Tsada, where you can go and try the ales available.
All in all there is so much to see and do in paphos, you'll probably have to come back again and again.
Coral Bay has numerous activities for all ages , small amusement arcade, pitch and put, go-karting and horse riding close by.
A regular, reliable bus service runs every 15 minutes to and from Coral Bay to Paphos harbour and market, making it easy for holidaymakers to visit places around the area – and getting them safely back to their villas to take in the sun. The buses are clean and any journey on them from Coral Bay or Paphos to the Coral Bay region, is charged at minimal rate!
Evenings in Coral Bay see holidaymakers "strutting" up the main street of the resort from the beaches, enjoying the lights and ambiance of this popular holiday area.
Close by are two wonderful beaches, one more on a slope down and the other, Coralia beach, easily accessed. The shallow waters lap at your feet for some distance into the sea, making it very safe for children.
Nearby is a local taverna with very friendly parrots! Also close by is bike hire, hairdressers, beauty salon, a British Fish and Chip shop and a popular British pub with weekly entertainment. The Coral Bay strip offers further international cuisine and all varieties of entertainment.
