''Hallo Steven, we had a very nice time in Megas Alexandros. The property itself was more than OK. We had everything we need. A nice teras, a beautiful and very clean swimmingpool. We enjoyed swimming in the almost privite swimming pool.
The way to put away the key in a mini save by the door was very handy. We were very pleased with the service of our taxi driver Andy. He also told us the name of a very nice restaurant in the old city, Laona. The food was delicious and also a very good price.
We have taken the bus 615 a lot to Coral Bay or to the Harbour. And we asked Andy to pick us up by the Lidl with all of the food and drinks we had bought for a whole week. A little bit of organisation but everything went very well.
We would sure come back to Cyprus because we have not see everything. Do you have villa's in other places because we where very pleased with the service of your organisation. Everything was very clear so we did not need any help from the property manager. Thanks again for a very nice and well organised stay for us in Paphos.''

''The villa was clean, spacious, everything we needed. The central location perfect. We recommend Sunset bar for cheap beer, Coral bay beach, Peyia, (all by bus you can get a daily ticket on the bus for 3euros get on & of as many places in one day as you like). You couldn`t do enough for our stay at the villa Yamas. Thankyou for a great holiday Mrs J Hooper''
The Paphos District
Cyprus has more to offer the visitor than any other Mediterranean island, a fascinating blend of landscape, climate, history and culture. There is a seemingly endless coastline of sandy coves and beaches washed gently by crystal clear blue waters.
Travel a little way from the coast into the pine forests , an hours drive in the Winter for skiing in the Troodos Mountains; experience a kaleidoscope of colours in the Spring time; meet the local people whose reputation for good food and hospitality is world-wide and you will discover for yourself why this magical island has been attracting people for over 9,000 years.
Birthplace of Aphrodite and in Roman times the capital of Cyprus, Paphos is one of the most beautiful and ancient towns of Cyprus and is situated on the south west coast. Sheltered from the north by the Troodos Mountains, it has the healthiest climate in the Mediterranean. Paphos Harbour with it's ancient castle, marine and water sports centres, is lined with colourful restaurants serving fresh fish and marine delicacies. Nearby are archaeological sites, rich with antiquities, providing an interest away from the usual - in fact UNESCO has included Paphos on it's World Cultural Heritage List.
There are no private beaches on the island and Cyprus boasts dozens of European Blue Flag awards. The secluded sandy beaches are perfect for snorkelling and every watersport you can imagine.
If you want excitement then you may want to visit one of three world class water parks within easy reach that rival any in the world. Or, if you want something more relaxing there are 4 golf courses within 30 minutes drive.
Close by the Bay you will find large hotels, banks, shops, mini-markets (for provisions and souvenirs), bars, restaurants and street cafes for casual alfresco meals. There are tavernas and snack bars overlooking the sea and a large restaurant in the next bay which is open during the day. More tavernas and local shops are just a short drive away. Coral Bay beach is a 10-15 minute stroll with the local (pebbled) beach (also offering watersports) just 100m away.
Things to do in the area include Paphos Bird Park, reptile park, horse riding, Akamas Peninsular & Lara Nature Reserve, hiking/walking, buggy safaris, 4 x 4 safaris, sea caves area, sailing and many more. Amusement and water parks in Paphos are also easily accessible from Coral Bay as are numerous archaeological ruins such as the Tombs of the Kings.
An excellent bus service takes you into the town of Paphos with its historical harbour, gift shops and restaurants. Also the ‘Old Town’ of Paphos with its blend of high quality shops and traditional markets. Buses travel all around Paphos and surrounding villages. The current deal of a day pass is 2 euros making this a great value way to see around the area.
