About the home

The villa stands proudly on a corner plot with lots of patio areas surrounding the private 8m x 4m swimming pool. These areas are both fully complimented with luxury garden furniture and a brick BBQ. All are surrounded by a high fence allowing complete privacy for you and your group.

11 kilometres (15 minutes drive) to the West of Paphos and 3 kilometres below the friendly and picturesque, hillside village of Peyia is Coral Bay, the best natural (European Blue Flag) beach in the area. This is an established resort with many villas set apart from one another above a wide curve of dark golden sand. The summer heat is often tempered by a gentle breeze and the sea has a shallow margin where children may play safely. In the busier months, water sports on offer include pedaloes, water skiing, banana boats, jet skis and windsurfing.

The villas ground floor has a fully fitted modern kitchen with fridge/freezer, an electric cooker with matching hob and electric fan, a microwave, washing machine, toaster, kettle, juicer and smoothie maker.

The kitchen also has a black marbled breakfast bar with 3 black leather stools, following through to the dining area. Also downstairs is a cloakroom with WC, hand basin and storage furniture for towels toothbrushes etc.

In the dining area is a smart and modern black dining table with 8 black leather chairs. Across from this is your living room fully fitted with 2 cream leather sofas a cream leather arm chair, standard lamps, rugs and pictures.To compliment this, there is also a surround sound TV system complete with Satellite TV. As part of this entertainment system, there are both DVD and Video players. (a selection of films are available in the villa).

Upstairs comprises of 3 bedrooms all colour coordinated and themed. One master bedroom plus two twin bedded double rooms all with large double fitted wardrobes table lamps and alarm clocks. Bedroom one has a large 5ft bed with matching side table and dressing table with stool and mirror. There are also two arm chairs all with animal print decoration. Outside is a balcony with two chairs and a table so you can have breakfast and enjoy the view if you wish.

Facilities: The villa is fully air conditioned throughout which is included in the rental rate and it has a fully pressurised water system for excellent and invigorating showers, and a large bath if you just want to relax.

All bedding, towels and beach towels are included in the prices, the villa also has benefit of fly screens fitted throughout enabling you to leave doors open when you are in without getting flies and bugs flying around. A safe deposit box is available in the master bedroom for your convenience. Other extras include hair dryer and safety deposit box.

A Travel Cot and Highchair can be provided free of charge upon request. Wi-fi is included in the rental rate.

We can arrange taxi transfer by our own driver who knows where the property is and assist with car hire from the airport if desired. The property is professionally managed (you will always have a contact) and has linen changes and cleaning on a weekly basis. Air-Conditioning is included in the rental price as is a welcome pack of basic essentials for your arrival.**

''The villa was clean, spacious, everything we needed. The central location perfect. We recommend Sunset bar for cheap beer, Coral bay beach, Peyia, (all by bus you can get a daily ticket on the bus for 3euros get on & of as many places in one day as you like). You couldn`t do enough for our stay at the villa Yamas. Thankyou for a great holiday Mrs J Hooper''

The Paphos region

Cyprus has more to offer the visitor than any other Mediterranean island, a fascinating blend of landscape, climate, history and culture. There is a seemingly endless coastline of sandy coves and beaches washed gently by crystal clear blue waters.

Travel a little way from the coast into the pine forests , an hours drive in the Winter for skiing in the Troodos Mountains; experience a kaleidoscope of colours in the Spring time; meet the local people whose reputation for good food and hospitality is world-wide and you will discover for yourself why this magical island has been attracting people for over 9,000 years.

Birthplace of Aphrodite and in Roman times the capital of Cyprus, Paphos is one of the most beautiful and ancient towns of Cyprus and is situated on the south west coast. Sheltered from the north by the Troodos Mountains, it has the healthiest climate in the Mediterranean. Paphos Harbour with it's ancient castle, marine and water sports centres, is lined with colourful restaurants serving fresh fish and marine delicacies. Nearby are archaeological sites, rich with antiquities, providing an interest away from the usual - in fact UNESCO has included Paphos on it's World Cultural Heritage List.

There are no private beaches on the island and Cyprus boasts dozens of European Blue Flag awards. The secluded sandy beaches are perfect for snorkelling and every watersport you can imagine.

If you want excitement then you may want to visit one of three world class water parks within easy reach that rival any in the world. Or, if you want something more relaxing there are 4 golf courses within 30 minutes drive.

The Coral Bay area

Close by the Bay you will find large hotels, banks, shops, mini-markets (for provisions and souvenirs), bars, restaurants and street cafes for casual alfresco meals. There are tavernas and snack bars overlooking the sea and a large restaurant in the next bay which is open during the day. More tavernas and local shops are just a short drive away. Coral Bay beach is a 10-15 minute stroll with the local (pebbled) beach (also offering watersports) just 100m away.

Things to do in the area include Paphos Bird Park, reptile park, horse riding, Akamas Peninsular & Lara Nature Reserve, hiking/walking, buggy safaris, 4 x 4 safaris, sea caves area, sailing and many more. Amusement and water parks in Paphos are also easily accessible from Coral Bay as are numerous archaeological ruins such as the Tombs of the Kings.

An excellent bus service takes you into the town of Paphos with its historical harbour, gift shops and restaurants. Also the ‘Old Town’ of Paphos with its blend of high quality shops and traditional markets. Buses travel all around Paphos and surrounding villages. The current deal of a day pass is 2 euros making this a great value way to see around the area.
