My husband and I have just returned from a short break in Bwythyn y Wennol and cannot speak highly enough of the cottage. Ann, the owner who lives next door, was on hand to meet us and show us around. The cottage is lovely with quality fixtures and fittings making a stay there very comfortable. Views from the outside terrace are fabulous. The surrounding area was snow covered while we were there and we look forward to hopefully returning in the summer months when we could enjoy sitting outside with a glass of wine! The cottage makes a great base from which to explore North Wales and we can highly recommend a stay there. Thanks again Ann! Response: Dear Sian & Ian, thank you so much for your kind review. Delighted that you enjoyed the cottage and the location so much despite the snowy landscape. Look forward to seeing you again sometime hopefully without the need for winter woollies ! Best wishes,Ann |

we have just returned from a lovely two night anniversary break at Bwthyn y Wennol which we thoroughly enjoyed - it is a very pretty cottage set in the hills above Conwy which is a little over a mile and a half away - we particularly loved the cosiness of the living room and log burning fire, which we used on both nights despite being lucky enough to have sunshine for the whole of our visit - overall, we found the cottage to be very relaxing, well cared for, romantic, and peaceful - possibly the only downside was that there wasn't a table and chairs on the balcony to enjoy the view - but other than that, we had a lovely time Response: Glad you enjoyed Bwthyn y Wennol to celebrate your Anniversary. However, I am a little confused regarding your comment about the lack of chairs on the balcony when there are actually 2 recliners( as shown in the photo on the website)from which you would have enjoyed the lovely views and sunshine.Regardless of that I am pleased you found the cottage so cosy especially the log burner. Best wishes, Ann |
