The accommodation includes three bedrooms, one of which has a four-poster bed; fitted kitchen with a dining area, and sitting room with an open fire in an inglenook fireplace. Ty Nant is a farm cottage base with great facilities and comfortable accommodation that is in just the right place for exploring Conwy and Caernarfon castles; the Welsh Mountain Zoo; Victorian Llandudno, and Snowdonia.

Shops and bike hire 3.5 miles. Pub 1.5 miles. Note: This is a working livestock farm with sheep and cows; please keep dogs on lead when out of the house and enclosed garden.
The North Wales / Denbigh/Flint/Conwy region
Snowdonia National Park, situated in North Wales, boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal clear lakes and cascading waterfalls. Climb Snowdon, which at 1085m is Wales’ highest mountain, or travel to the summit in style on the charming Mountain Railway. Alternatively, why not sample the beautiful green valley of Llangollen by steam train or from a leisurely horse-drawn canal boat.
In July, the annual Llangollen Eisteddfod transforms the town into a unique centre of international music and dance, attracting musicians and singers from across the globe. You could also explore the beautiful coastline, safe sandy beaches and watersports of the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as Colwyn Bay, historic Conwy, Victorian Llandudno or the Isle of Anglesey on the north coast.
The Conwy / Llanrwst area
The outdoors lovers’ haven of Betws-Y-Coed is surrounded by dense woodland and impressive mountains, and is known as the Gateway to Snowdonia. The River Conwy meets its three tributaries flowing from the west at Betws-Y-Coed, and North Wales' most popular inland resort offers cascading waterfalls, river pools and ancient bridges. The most magnificent of the waterfalls is Swallow Falls, found where the waters of the Llugwy River fling themselves into a dramatic chasm. The village is home to The Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre, and also marks the start of the beautiful Conwy Valley which leads to the coast and the towns of Llandudno and Conwy. Betws-Y-Coed has a good choice of shops, pubs, eateries, a riverside golf course and the enjoyable Woodland High Rope Activity Centre.

Another warm welcome to Ty Nant from the owners. The cottage was decorated and all set for a very comfortable family Christmas - home away from home. You do not want for anything in this beautiful cottage. The owner thinks of everything. Although we did not have the magical snow this year we were able to get out and do some more adventurous walks in the wonderful Snowdonia National Park. Being able to share our Christmas holiday with our dog is also very special.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee per week or short break.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
