We stayed at Church Cottage for 2 nights with our two teenagers. The location couldn't be better; it's a quiet street, but right in the heart of the walled city. The house is beautifully decorated with every amenity you could possible want: 2 spacious bedrooms, nice bathroom, very comfortable living room, a well-appointed kitchen, and a dining area well-suited for 4 people. Although we never met the owner, she was professional and accommodating throughout...mailed us the keys beforehand, and provided a loaf of Welsh tea bread and a refrigerator full of beer! The perfect place to stay in Conwy.
By the way, if you want a really excellent meal featuring modern Welsh cuisine, try Watson's. It was one of the best meals we had during our 2-week trip (and we are foodies who are generally not too enamored with UK cooking).
