The North Wales region

North Wales is a great combination of the family seaside resorts, which extend along its northern coastline and of course the magnificent mountains that make up Snowdonia Nation Park. Also located in this region are the very distinctive Island of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula. So visitors will find a diverse holiday destination that caters for many different types of holidays from the family beach holiday to serious climbing holidays, and lots in between. There are plenty of things to do here; walking, sailing, fishing and many indoor attractions for the children. Wildlife enthusiasts will not be disappointed, with Anglesey and the Lleyn peninsula in particular being rich in diverse mix of habitats.

Conwy

Tan Rallt is located in the charming village of Capel Curig. Benefiting from three pubs and a village shop, those staying in the village can rest safe in the knowledge that all basic amenities are close at hand. Also home to the Plas y Brenin National Mountain Centre, the village is the perfect destination for those with a passion for outdoor adventure with everything from rock climbing to mountain biking, sea kayaking and skiing all readily available in the surrounding areas. The popular holiday destination of Betws y Coed is also close by, a village beaming with character and hospitality. Welcoming visitors all year round, this picturesque village is an exciting destination, boasting a unique selection of shops, pubs and restaurants for visitors to sample. The village also acts as an excellent base from which to explore some of the most exciting destinations along the nearby North Wales Coast. Those who don't mind venturing a little further afield may also enjoy a visit to the medieval walled town of Conwy, where visitors can experience the famous suspension bridge, the smallest house in Britain, admire the beautiful estuary or experience the delights of the majestical Conwy castle.
