About the home

This 2 bedroomed cottage sleeps 5. It has a double bedroom and in the other bedroom are a double and single bed. With an open log fire in the lounge and a free supply of logs, cosy evenings are a sure bet. In the summer the cottage has its own garden and picnic bench along with a Bar b Que. Tressi Porffor is very popular with repeat guests. Come and see for yourself what makes them come back.

The Lounge has two large settees and a traditional open log fire with a free supply of logs. The kitchen diner has all that is required of a cottage getaway. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and then a bedroom with a double bed and single bed in whilst the bathroom has a shower over bath. Cots and highchairs are available free of charge.

The cottage has its own grarden as well as other grounds to wander around.

A beautiful Wisteria plant covers part of the front of this cottage which the video of the courtyard shows. The hedged garden is ideal for resting after a hard day on the beach!

The North Wales / Denbigh/Flint/Conwy region

Ideally placed on the edge of Snowdonia National Park but close to the coast. This location is ideal for exploring the whole of North Wales. Conwy, Llandudno, Anglesey and Caernarfon are just some of the great towns nearby. There are numerous places to visit whatever the weather.

Numerous tourist attractions mean that no matter how long your stay there will be plenty to do. As well as the attractions, whatever you enjoy doing there is something for you. Whether it is walking by the sea, in the mountains or just in the countryside there are huge number of options. If you want to be more active with mountaineering, all year skiing or someof the best mountain bike tracks in the country then again they are all accessible from the cottages.

For families there are great activities for all ages so you can keep everyone happy including farm parks, cinemas, 10 pin bowling and great off road family cycle routes.

If you just feel like driving around then you will see some of the most spectacular scenery there is from rugged coastlines to the mountain ranges of Snowdonia.

When the days are over then there are numerous places to eat from local cafes to award winning restaurants. Along with the more unusual such as the local Dutch Pancake House and also the Austrian Restaurant.

The Conwy area

Bodnant Gardens, Conwy Castle, Betws y Coed, Llandudno pier and promenade and Portmeirion are just some of the places to visit.

As well as all the attractions of north Wales there are several festivals that provide additional interest during the year. Located in Conwy North Wales, the nearest Airports are Manchester and Liverpool whilst it is only a short journey from Holyhead Port.

There is a train station in Llandudno Junction a short distance away and the main roads into North Wales of the A5 and A55 mean that it is easy to get to this beautiful location.

“Very nice cottage in a beautiful area” We stayed at this cottage in 2012 and liked it very much. Everything met our expectations. The owner, Neil, is very friendly and helpful and cares well for the cottages. There is a pub with good meals only a short walk from the cottages and the walled town of Conwy with the magnificent Castle is only a 10 minutes drive away. The cottages has a small private lawn on the back with a door from the kitchen and a picknick table which we enjoyed very much at good weather. The kitchen table may be a little too small for four people, but it's fine for two.

“Does exactly what it says on the box” We love Tressi Porffor and have stayed in this cottage on numerous occasions. The cottage is always clean, tidy and well presented when we arrive. It is set around a pretty cobbled court yard. There is a large garden area at the rear of the garden which the children enjoy playing in. The owners have always made us feel very welcome and are easily contactable should any problems arise. The location is quet, but is within easy reach of either coastal or mountainous areas. The island of Anglesy is a short car journey away. There are numerous excellent restaurants nearby if you feel like eating out, or local shops and supermarkets for self catering.
