The North Wales region
North Wales is a great combination of the family seaside resorts, which extend along its northern coastline and of course the magnificent mountains that make up Snowdonia Nation Park. Also located in this region are the very distinctive Island of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula.
So visitors will find a diverse holiday destination that caters for many different types of holidays from the family beach holiday to serious climbing holidays, and lots in between. There are plenty of things to do here; walking, sailing, fishing and many indoor attractions for the children.
Wildlife enthusiasts will not be disappointed, with Anglesey and the Lleyn peninsula in particular being rich in diverse mix of habitats.
Just behind the cottage is Conwy Marina, a pretty and bustling little place with great places to eat and shop and alongside is an 18 hold championship level golf course. The hugely popular resort of Llandudno is close by, along with a cinema, great shops and restaurants, a dry ski slope and cable car. There are also great links to Chester and the whole of North Wales. Head to the mystical Anglesey for walks and incredible coastline views and visit the little town of Betws y Coed, Bodnant Gardens, Swallow Falls and Trefriw Woollen Mills.
