Conwy is a seaside town on the north coast of Wales. It faces Deganwy across the River Conwy. Conwy is famous for its medieval castle and for this reason is a popular tourist destination. Stunning views over Snowdonia and the harbour form the backdrop to this designated World Heritage Site and walled town. King Edward 1 built the walled town and the adjoining castle in the 13th century at the mouth of the River Conwy.
Things to do in Conwy: There is so much to do and see in Conwy with its historic harbour, which is one of the largest recreational boating harbours in the whole of Wales accommodating leisure craft, a small commercial fishing fleet, mussel boats and a charter angling fleet and if you have your own boat you can launch it from here. Fishing, sailing, walking, horse riding, sandy beaches and three golf courses are all within easy reach.
The Conwy / Conwy Marina area
Orielfa is superbly located, on the marina waterfront, with the golf course couple of minutes walk away and Langleys Spa nearby. The Mulberry Pub is at the other end of the front. This is an ideal base for golfing, walking (mountains & beach) driving to beautiful and senic Snowdonia range. Llandudno, the famous north Wales town with leading shops is approx. 6 miles away. Chester the historic Roman City is 50 miles to the east.

We felt instantly at home in Orielfa and had a brilliant time. A highlight was being able to watch the cormorant and heron fishing in the marina. It was also great, not only for us, but for the... more

“Total comfort and joy !!!!”
The position of the house is breathtaking - wonderful views across the estuary. Sailing boats just outside the door. Even in December it inspired thoughts of warm Summer days. The house is large enough for my family (6 adults and 2 small children) plenty of space, 3 bathrooms a boon. The house was tastefully decorated for Christmas making a lovely festive atmosphere. Comfortable, clean, airy - excellent standard throughout ! I would gladly visit again.
Orielfa came to my attention during my search for a site that would accommodate 3 couples and a single.... 7 adults. It is quite convenent to Conwy, Llandudno and Colwyn Bay with tourism attractions, shopping, and pubs in the near vicinity.
We found it to be very much as advertised with a nice view over the marina and toward the hills beyond. We were impressed with the overall quality of the accomodation and the quiet location.

“Fantastic house!”
I can honestly say no strings attached. Found a lovely property within our budget The owner got in contact quickly and I have just come back from a very relaxing week in beautiful north Wales with my wife and four boys. The house was luxurious and well worth the money. The Three floor, four bedroom home is well equipped, clean and modern. Bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious. Bathrooms were also very clean and spacious too. The location of the house was perfect as it was situated on Conwy Marina and the beech is a very short walk away. Ideally situated for the many attractions of north Wales. Holiday to remember!

“A home from home”
The house was lovely and very well equipped with beautiful views of the marina. The accomodation is extremely comfortable with plenty of space. There is a washing machine and tumbledryer which is absolutely essential when you are travelling with young kids. The little touches were very much appreciated (fresh milk and wine in the fridge!).
Conwy is a beautiful place and the house is ideally located in a quiet marina with a pub 3 minutes walk away. It takes only 20 minutes walk into the centre of Conwy and there are plenty of attractions round the area no more than 30 minutes away. Greenwood forest park was great for the kids!
We had a wonderful few days at Orielfa, despite the Welsh rain! The three bathrooms made sharing the house with family easy. There is plenty to see and do nearby, or you could sit and stare at the views towards Deganwy, mountains and watch the yachts bobbing in the Marina outside. The owners were so easy to deal with and nothing is spared to make the stay comfortable.

“Yes, we'd come back again again!”
We stayed here in 2011 and were pleased to be able to book again for 2012. When we arrived we realised that there had been alot of work done on the property and it was even better than last year. The balcony floor had been repaired (it had been a little wobbly last year) and it was a pleasant place to sit and view the Marina straight in front of you and Deganwy and the hills beyond. There was a small patio area off the bedroom on the ground floor with chairs, bbq etc but the weather stopped us using this. The carpets on the stairs and landings had been replaced and were nice and soft. Most importantly in North Wales the washing machine had been joined by a tumble dryer! At a pinch there is parking for 2 cars outside. It's a quiet little road and whilst plenty of houses were occupied we couldn't hear the neighbours and with the marina on one side it was very peaceful. The kitchen is functional and compact - enough for a holiday and well stocked with equipment. In the living room there is a new flatscreen tv and sky and wifi which we didn't try. The leather suite is smart and comfortable. Upstairs (and one downstairs) the bedrooms are neutrally decorated with comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. Everything was very clean and neat. It is a town house so on 3 floors so you get a bit of exercise if you leave something in the bedroom upstairs and have to go back from the ground floor to get it so not suitable for the disabled. We had a good stay here. The owner is very helpful in his communications and leaves a few homely touches like a small stock of paper and envelopes in case you need them and some milk on arrival in the fridge to go with the tea and coffee.

“Accommodation with a touch of class.Exceptional.”
The house is in an idyllic , tranquil location situated two minutes walk from the beach at Conwy. The beach is very clean and unspoilt , it doesn't have any facilities ( toilets etc) but the house is so close we took a packed lunch and were fine. If we needed anything we just popped back to the house. The house overlooks Conwy Marina which is really quiet with a quality pub two minutes walk away. This serves excellent lunchtime and evening meals. The portions were large and of really high quality. The house itself is exceptional ,furnished to a four star level, with everything you need from luxury towels to a 47 inch tv and welcome pack in the fridge. The ground floor has a large entrance hall which leads to a ground floor double bedroom with ensuite. This was ideal for our in-laws as it is two floors away from the other bedrooms so they were away from the kids overnight ! The middle floor houses the living / kitchen area. The living area has a fantastic view of the marina and beyond from the balcony. It contains the large flat screen tv (with sky hd) leather sofas, chairs and coffee tables. Ideal for a family get together at the end of the day. Adjoining this is the kitchen area which is fully equipped with everything you need including a dishwasher. The washing machine is on the ground floor . There is a table and chairs for breakfast and evening meals. The third floor has a double bedroom , double with ensuite and twin with ensuite. High quality furnishings throughout mark this as a high quality rental. The mattresses were firm with none of that "roll together" you get in many hotels. The bathrooms have high quality fitments and luxury towels are provided. Overall we were so impressed with this house that we enquirer about renting next year as soon as we got back ! Having stayed in many houses over the years it it hard to envisage one of a higher quality and impossible to find fault with anything. So much to do in the local area and perfect weather made this a truly perfect holiday.
“A stunning property, well appointed and in a beautiful setting.”
We staryed with some friends - 4 adults and 4 children and could not have been happier with this beautiful poperty. The owners have furnished it to an exceptionally high standard and thoughtfully provided everything one could wish for to make a relaxing short break. The bedrooms were lovely, beds very comfy and everything pristine. The bathrooms were fabulous - no problems with bath/shower and the kids loved their en-suite. The family room upstairs has a monsterously large TV for entertainment and very cosy sofas. The kitchen was small but perfectly formed, we easily cooked for 8 people and the dining room table was amply large enough to seat us all. Cannot wait to return and enjoy a BBQ on the terrace in the sun!

“Very nice house in a lovely marina. Would go back”
We stayed as a group of 5 girls for a 30th birthday weekend. House was great. In a brilliant location and only feet from the marina. Was handy for day trips to Llandudno and a nice pub on the marina with live music etc. felt it was a little overpriced as we went late November but all in all a lovely weekend and would go back again

“An amazing location”
This house is situated on Conway marina and has wonderful views. We had amazing weather and the view from the balcony was truly lovely. It is a great spot to explore the North Wales coast. The walk into Conway is very pleasant but quite long and you would need a car/taxi to get shopping etc. Conway is a beautiful town with some great spots to eat and enjoy high quality food. There is a lovely pub which serves food on the Marina itself. The house was essentially clean with spotless bedding and comfortable beds. On the down side, it is a bit tired and dated with a very small kitchen but we had a really lovely week and came home wonderfully rested.

“A home in a wonderful location”
A good bottoming would not go amiss as the house looked a little tired, even so the linens etc. were exceptionally clean.
We were not able to locate addresses or numbers of such as doctor, hospital etc.
We were also unable to find extra bin bags anywhere.
We had a very comfortable stay at Orielfa. It was very peaceful, with beautiful views over the marina and estuary. Also, within easy walking distance of Conwy town.

“Amazing location, excellent facilities, thanks!”
We enjoyed a fantastic week at Orielfa on Conwy Marina which is a beatifully presented 3 floor town house in a prime location- views of Conwy Mountain to the front and Conwy Marina and across the estuary to pretty Deganwy from the lounge balcony and main bedrooms. It was the perfect base to explore the surrounding area by bike along the Coastal cycle route to Llandudno's beaches and Great Orme or 30mins train ride along the Conwy river to Betws y Coed in the heart of Snowdonia or 2 minutes stroll to Conwy Golf Club or 'The Mulberry' pub , or 15 mins to Conwy Castle or 30mins car to Bodnant Gardens - the list goes on! Highly recommended.

“Fabulous home in a fantastic location”
We had a fantastic week in Conwy just prior to Easter, the house is located in a great central location from which to explore the Coast or inland towards Snowdonia. Excellent facilities, all the rooms were very clean & extremely comfortable, we particularly liked the balcony off the Lounge & kept the doors open whenever we were in the house. Fantastic owners who are very friendly both prior to & after we checked out, I recommend this venue wholeheartedly & our family will be back in the future ! Enjoy
“Comfortable house in a lovely position, ideal for children.”
Tucked in a quiet cul-de-sac, this town house offers all the comforts for a large family. It overlooks Conwy Marina and is next to a beautiful beach, as well as within walking distance of the town itself. It has enough amenities to keep the family amused during bad weather (we luckily did not need them). The house itself was immaculately clean and beautifully maintained. If I have a criticism, it is that we never met the owners or anyone keeping the house in order - for such a lovely place, human touch would have been something extra special. I have no hesitation in recommending it, and would gladly come back.

“Excellent family rental!”
This property was just what we were looking for. Our party consisted of four adults and one child and the property was more than comfortable and suited our needs exactly. The property is situated within easy reach of all tourist attractions in North Wales whilst also providing peaceful and private accomodation. We would highly recommend a stay at Orielfa!
