Conwy has its own micro climate and the golf course is almost always open, Mild Winters and bright summers. Anglesey has the highest sunshine hours in the UK and its a mile across the bay. Conwy, across the river from Llandudno, is a walled market town, with a the most impressive and complete 12th Century Welsh castle. Llandudno is a modernised seaside resort with pier, dry ski slope and toboggan run, with magnificent bay views, using the cable cars or tram to the top of the Great Orme. Other activitie include Cinema, sports centre, ten pin bowling and sea fishing trips.
Conwy area
Locally you can visit Llandudno, Betwys Y Coed, Bodnant Gardens, Aber Falls, Swallow Falls, Conwy Falls, Ireland via Holyhead, Snowdon Mountain and Railway, Festiniog Railway, Anglesey, Port Meirion where the prisoner was filmed. Many Lakes, bike riding fishing sea and course, horse riding, golf sailing. There are many festivals throughout the year, including river, blue grass, french food, and the Vistorian Festival. July Augustcand September sees the open weeks for Conwy, Maesdu and North Wales Golf Clubs, all within a mile of the house. Other castles to see include Carnarfon, Harlech, Penrhyn, Criccieth, and many more.
How to get there
-When travelling westward to Anglesey take the A55 Exit after Conwy River Tunnel, follow brown signs for marina and golf course. At the mini roundabout turn left, go past the golf course entrance and follow the road until you see the last house on your right before the marina. -When travelling eastward from Anglesey and the Holyhead Ferries, follow brown signs for marina and golf course. At the mini roundabout turn left, go past the golf course entrance and follow the road until you see the last house on your right before the marina. -When travelling by boat, park in the marina and as you look at the houses, you need the right hand end house!

Further details indoors: Pleasant dining facilities, modern television DVD/CD player and Kitchen, with large fridge. Views from all rooms are exceptional. The front looks onto the Marina and Deganwy Mountain and the great Orme, the rear looks over the golf course and Conwy Mountain and Puffiin Island. Three clean bright bedrooms with wardrobes and more great views.
Further details outdoors: Convenient for all local shops and restaurants. Conwy walled town and 12th Century Castle is 20 minutes walk via the river path, the first tee is 2 minutes away, the Marina is just over the front wall of the house. Sitting on the terrace watching the sun go down behind Puffin Island is our personal pleasure. Walking over to Sychnant Pass and having Sunday Lunch takes 90 minutes each way but well worth the effort. 15 minutes drive away is Aber Falls on the road to Bangor.

What a weekend, what a house, I wish it was for sale. 3 golf courses within 5 minutes drive and all fantastic, best golf holiday ever. We could have stayed forever, the kids loved fishing for crabs at the end of the lane and will never forget their time on the beach.
