Stayed herei in July with friends and from the moment you enter this adorable cottage you feel at home. It is very well layed out and so comfortable. Three bedrooms lovely bright well equipped kitchen and sunny living room with big picture window overlooking Kingston Bay. The situation is spectacular with panoramic views in every direction. The road running in front of the house is ideal for a morning walk or evening stroll. It has great access to many other areas of interest . The caretaker is a delight and always ready to help and chat. We just loved his Irish charm. we certainly could recommend this cottage and we are planning a return visit soon. |

We had a wonderful week at this fantastic cottage in November despite the changeable weather. Tranquil setting in glorious countryside. Cottage was warm and cosy with all modern facilities and is beautifully furnished. Lovely views down the bay from the Living Room and fun watching the local fishermen set out in their small boats. Lots to see and do in the area ranging from stunning scenery, immense deserted beaches to nearby charming Clifden "The Capital of Connemara". with its abundance of restaurants and pubs. Had a great day out visiting Kylemore Abbey: interesting historic house and large Victorian walled garden. Good cafe. A good lunch in front of the roaring fire in the Gunroom of Ballynahinch Castle or in summer have lunch in the restaurant with its fantastic river views. Everyone we met was so very friendly-we loved this part of Ireland and this property was ideal for us. We will be going back. |
