Located in Cleggan Village, 2 Minutes from Fishing Harbour and Ferry Port to Inishbofin. Cleggan is a fishing village with shops, restaurant and pubs that play traditional music. It is located 7 miles from Clifden where there is further amenities including, shops, restaurants, hotels, Craft Shops and Art Galleries.

Other local facilities include swimming with numerous beaches nearby, fishing, golf, horse riding, boat trips, cycling, hill walking. There are numerous places of beauty nearby, Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, Killary Fjord, 12 Bens.

For the more active, there are adventure centres that specialise in diving, water skiing, windsurfing, abseiling etc.
