Ti Mhairin is a lovely holiday cottage in a fabulous location at the base of the Connemara Mountains and the start of the Connemara Way and is sure to provide you with a wonderful holiday.

The Connemara / Oughterard area
The village of Oughterard is found in the west of Ireland on the shores of Lough Corrib, at the start of the Connemara Mountain range and close to the Connemara Way. Home to the Oughterard championship golf course and Aughnanure Castle, there are lots of things to see and do, and as it is located next to Lough Corrib, Oughterard is perfect for lovers of fishing. Just a short drive away in Roscahil is the pretty Brigit's Garden; with four main gardens and places to play, sit and relax, this is a great day out for all the family. Only 10 miles from Oughterard lies Galway City, where you can discover some of Ireland's long and varied history; visit Lynch's Castle, or trace the origin of the famous Claddagh Ring, which originated in a village near the shore of Galway Bay

We arrived early but the owner was there to greet us with a very friendly smile and lots of local information. The house is beautifully furnished and located in the centre of Oughterard village, just 5 minutes from the bank, shops and restaurant/pubs. Oughterard is ideally suited for touring the area and the scenery is out of this world. Ti Mhairin is certainly on our list of properties to return to. |

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
