With stunning views out to the lake Coniston, Melbourne House enjoys a peaceful location on the fringe of the village, making shops and country pubs within easy walking distance.
The property can comfortably sleep up to seven guests, in three spacious bedrooms. Whilst the accommodation is ideal for a family holiday, it would also be very suitable for three couples as each of the bedrooms can offer a double bed . . . no one has to pull the short straw for the twin bedded room!!
Parking is available right outside on the driveway, and immediate access can be gained to a large variety of short strolls or spectacular hikes.

For those who are seeking some history and culture a short journey will take you to Brantwood, the former home of the author John Ruskin, or Dove Cottage, once the residence of Beatrix Potter. Coniston village has a good selection of shops, coffee shops, pubs serving food and other amenities. Nearby villages and towns to explore include Grassington, Hawkshead, Windermere, Ambleside and Keswick.
