Home description
The perfect rural holiday retreat, 'Haycote Barn' at Bridgefield is a brand new barn conversion. It has been entirely renovated from its old feed shed origins and brought up to luxury contemporary standards in a stunning style. The styling throughout is superb, more reminiscent of a modern hotel than what you would expect from a traditional Lakeland barn but a winning combination. It boasts all modern conveniences such as full underfloor heating, while maintaining the intimate beams and woodwork of a classic Lakeland barn.
'Haycote Barn' at Bridgefield is in an enviable position, three miles from the foot of Coniston Water. The A590 is four miles away, allowing for easy access, but the only road that passes the farm is a C-road, which together with its surrounding fields and woodland ensures that the tranquillity of the location is preserved.
Boasting four comfortable, contemporary furnished rooms easily sleeping eight people, with the option of another two on the bed settee on the mezzanine, Haycote is the perfect location for a family holiday, big birthday event or just a chance to chill in company of friends.
Everything you require is provided should you decide to self-cater and make the most of the large oak family table seating 10. The fully fitted kitchen has a large range cooker, fitted fridge, freezer and dishwasher and leads out the to the back patio and BBQ area, fields and woodland. Visiting pheasant and birds of prey are a regular sight in the nature garden!
