Roche - Spain Select
Villa | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 6
Roche is a newly refurbished in January 2010 and occupying a prime beachfront position on Cadiz's spectacular Atlantic coast. The property is laid out over a single level; marble floors and white walls create a cool and tranquil habitat. Rooms are bright and airy, containing an array of quality furnishings. The open-plan living and dining area is particularly charming, spacious yet cosy and with a variety of tasteful prints adorning the walls. Both bathrooms are fully tiled and feature stylish marble surfaces. The kitchen is equally appealing; modern, bright and clean, it also contains a breakfast table for four. An arched and shaded terrace is equipped with garden furniture which, like the interior furnishings, is of a high standard; this exterior dining area is perfectly positioned to enjoy views out over the pool and the sea. The garden contains a variety of trees and shrubs, much is laid to lawn, and just beyond lies the white sandy beach. The positioning of Roche means that it also enjoys incredible sunsets, in addition a roof terrace affords an even greater vantage point to appreciate the views of the coastline and surrounding locale. A local restaurant, pharmacy and grocery store are within walking distance, a five minute drive away is the town of Conil containing a larger supermarket and a wider selection of bars and restaurants.

The Costa de la Luz region
The most southern province of the Iberian Peninsula, the region of C?diz is rich in natural beauty, from its sandy beaches and protected nature reserves to the historic and beautiful white villages dotted throughout the area. From eagle-spotting in the Do?ana National Park, exploring the salt marshes of Barbate, or walking the seaside cliffs at La Bre?a, C?diz offers visitors the chance to truly get away from it all. C?diz city is considered by many to be the oldest city in the West thanks to its strategic location on the coast which divides Europe and Africa. Originally founded by the Phoenicians and famous from being the port from which Christopher Columbus set sail on his discovery voyage to America, the city is soaked in history. The old town, (or Casco Antiguo) is a maze of narrow streets and large communal squares, whilst the modern quarter is characterized by wide avenues, elegant buildings and stylish bars and restaurants.
Conil de la Frontera
To the northwest of the region are the famous white villages of Andalucia, where narrow steep streets, tiny plazas and white cottages adorned in flowers look out over spectacular surroundings. Stretching from Tarifa in the south right up to the mouth of the Guadiana river, the region?s Costa de la Luz is one of the most beautiful coastlines in all of Spain. You don?t need to venture far to find long virginal beaches like Los Ca?os de Meca or Zahara de los Atunes. An area steeped in history and breathtaking natural beauty, the province of C?diz is a wonderful place to visit at any time of year.
