There is an additional charge for electricity. Electricity is run on a meter. The person who meets you on arrival to hand over your keys will sell electricity cards to you. 15 Euros should comfortably cover a weeks holiday. (Excessive Air con usage will increase this amount).
Refundable 150 Euros breakages deposit must be paid on arrival.

The Murcia region


The Costa Calida has an average temperature of 21 degrees and 300 days of sunshine per year making it the perfect all year round holiday destination.
It is only a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Sierra Espuna national park where you can hike, cycle or just enjoy the beautiful scenary and wild life. The area has over 250kms of coastline so if its the beach you are after you will have plenty to choose from!
The nearby town of Alhama is a typical spanish town at the foot of this national park where you can sample the Spanish culture and enjoy the local foods and wine which are as good as any in spain.
Puerto Mazzaron is a 20 minute drive away and is a great place to shop and take in the sunshine.
The Condado de Alhama / Jardines de Alhama area
Condado D'alhama is the flagship polaris world resort with three golf courses planned within its facility, one being a Jack Nicklaus signature course due for completion in Sept 2009.
Also planned is the fabulous Oasis town centre which will have everything you could possibly need from bars and restaurants to hairdressers and banks!

- The closest airport is San javier, murcia - 35 mins drive to apartment.
- Alicante airport is just slightly further - 50 mins drive to apartment.
Jet2, Easyjet and Ryanair offer cheap airfares to both these destinations from most British airports.
CAR HIRE:
- Recommended car hire is auriga crown which can be booked in advance on 'www.doyouspain.com' website. - Driving to and from the resort is extremely easy as the roads are all dual carriageway but surprisingly quiet!
- Directions will be sent to you on request.
- We are able to arrange a cheap taxi on request if you prefer not to drive or do not hold a license.

The apartment is well appointed with tasteful decor and furnishings.It is spacious and has a roof terrace for relaxing in the sun.We enjoyed the Roman antiquities at Cartagena and a trip to Lorca.The cathedral and eclectic Casino at Murcia are impressive.The Port of Mazzaron is also worth a visit with plenty of choice for eating. The complex is clean and well maintained,with decent sized pools for swimming . |

We stayed in Tim's apartment for two weeks and it was a great, relaxing break. Very modern and clean inside with excellent cooking facilities. It was a home from home but a swimming pool and tennis/play area on your doorstep which was great for the children. Beaches at Mazzaron and Bolneovo were great with lovely sand and gentle waters. Locally, there is a restaurant and cafe/bar on site within a good walk or a 5 min car journey. There is also a supermarket on site which was quite reasonable. If you love golf, then it's also a great place to stay with free buggis taking you to and around the golf course. (We're not golfers, but thought I'd mention it). We loved the restaurants at Mazzaron Port, great choice and not expensive.... people were lovely! We didn't make it to La Manga, but should have done as apparently it's worth spending a full day there. Inside the apartment, there is a Satelite TV and DVD Playerv for those who have had enough of sun bathing or just want to entertain the children for a little while. We would go back as it is a relaxing place to really switch off and get some lovely sunshine!!! Thank you for letting us stay! |
