About the home

We are proud to offer our Spanish home on this beautiful 5 star golf / sports resort for those seeking a luxury vacation. It will suit the golfing enthusiast as well as couples or families. We cater for families or couples as well as golfers.

This air conditioned 2 bedroomed apartment has all the necessary equipment to make your stay a comfortable one. The resort is perfectly situated for those who are adventurous and would like to explore this historic region by car. Places to see include Mazarron for secluded and quality beaches with the amazing Mar Menor and La Manga strip. Sierra Espuna, Murcia City, Totana, Aledo, and Lorca to name a few.

The apartment directly overlooks the pool which never gets overcrowded, after sunbathing on the solarium its only a 20 seconds walk to cool off in the pool. The pool has jacuzzi jets that are turned on during the day time with ample space around for sunbathing. There's also showers to rinse down with before and / or after your dip.

On a night time the pool lights up beautifully to become the main focal point of the garden amidst the sounds of the crickets and the sweet aroma of the flowers to which no picture can capture.

East facing. Sit with a coffee and catch the morning sun on the balcony or bathe in the sun all day on the roof top solarium. Set in lush well tendered gardens and surrounded by the newly completed golf course out in the countryside amongst the local vineyards, olive and orange groves, this beautiful resort is truly ideal for a vacation.

We are close but not too close to the resort amenities which keeps this apartment feeling private. (APARTMENT DESCRIPTION FOLLOWS BELOW)

Our gusets return year after year because the apartment feels very much like home from home. it has been our intention from the outset to make your vacation a comfortable as possible with everything included for self catering. We also take great pleasure in assisting our guests to tailor their vacation to there likes and interests. We have a good knowledge of the area for places to see, shopping and good nightlife or eating out.
a great advantage we have is our keyholder lives directly opposite our apartment and is on hand to help with further information. Meeting you with the keys when you arrive is easy.

Golf: The stunning but challenging newly built golf course is available for you to play and is only a pleasant stroll away. The pro golf shop is next to the 19th hole. This course has been designed by great Jack Nicklaus, he is currently working on the 2nd and third courses on the same resort, when fully completed it is rumored these will host some of the big world ranking tournaments why not put your mark on them. Murcia is already blessed with great golf courses some of which are close by.

Local Beaches: Our favorite local beach is difficult to choose as there are so many close by to Mazarron. Bolnuevo beach is without doubt delightful, with bars and restaurants on the beach. Across the road you will find sculptures formed in the sandstone from water, wind and time these are called the enchanted city. (got to be seen). La Azohia is a little unspoilt fishing village on the way from Mazarron past Isla Plana towards Cartagena, try some tapas whilst overlooking this stunning bay.

Follow the coast up to La Manga and may find your favourite beach there are too many to list.

Cartagena: Half an hour by car, Steeped in History from Roman times and including the Spanish armada if your lucky you may be able to catch the festivities of this region where battles are re-enacted.

(We have provided an information book in the apartment with details of places to visit including beaches, historical places and of course our favourite restaurants and bars.Also included is an up to date a map to find your way around).

Close by: The resort has a sports area and bar close by but not too close, with tennis and paddle tennis, squash courts and a five a side football pitch, cafe / cocktail bar. The newly built town centre is where you will find the large reasonably priced supermarket, this is exclusive to residents and is a leisurely walk away. this stunning little town comprises of bars restaurants cafes shops etc. built around a large shallow water feature, again a demonstration of 5 star class.

There is so much to see in this region, we have been exploring here for years. We passionately recommend you visit this region and see for yourselves.

This is Dawn and Tony's vacation home and we welcome only those who will treat the apartment with respect. We aim to provide a relaxing vacation in comfortable surroundings and will ensure your vacation is as it should be.

When formal inquiries are received a copy of some simple rules will be forwarded. If you are happy to do so sign the rules and send back with your deposit to secure your booking.

Upon final payment, maps and directions will be forwarded to you and any information you require prior to your vacation.
We have good knowledge of the Murcia area and can advise on places to visit, or you can read for yourself from the information book in the apartment

The Murcia region

Murcia - the cultural and business capital. All year round it boasts an excellent mix of music, opera, exhibitions and fine cuisine, with all you could need in shopping and services.

Millions people flock to the Costa Calida every summer attracted to the fine beaches benign climate, the golf and the interesting artistic heritage and the beauty and variety of the landscape. With an average annual temperature between 19 and 21 degrees Centigrade and low rainfall. The region between Mazzaron and Aguilas for example is the driest in the entire Iberian Peninsula.

Cartagena - a thousand year old Mediterranean port. a fascinating, historical city, packed with major monuments and archaeological remains. Its most well known fiesta called Romans and Carthaginian re-enacts this city's history.

The Costa Calida is adored by the Spanish as it has some of the most beautiful and varied spots along its 250Km coastline, fine sandy beaches tucked away, sand dunes, high cliffs, unexploited or touristy bays.
The climate - over 300 days of sunshine very mild winters makes this region perfect for a vacation and perfect for the golf.

Approximately 1 hrs pleasant scenic drive from the resort to the world famous La Manga strip situated on the Mar Menor you will experience the natural phenomena of Europe's largest natural salt lagoon with some of Spain's best beaches. The strip is approximately 21 Km long and at its narrowest points is barely 100 meters between the Mar Medditerraneo and the Mar Menor. Water sports, snorkeling and diving schools are scattered along the coastline as well as fishing form the beach or from the boat. At San Pedro Del Pinatars salt marshes you will find flocks of pink flamingos and experience salt being natural harvested from the lagoon.

Bathe in the warm Mar Menor or the Mediterranean or sample the bars, restaurant's, shops and amazing night-life. Along the strip there are several marinas packed with expensive yacht's and boats some are even for hire. If water sports are your thing this is the place to visit.

The Condado de Alhama / Jardines de Alhama area

Condado De Alhama golf resort is in its own right a town built around a golf course soon to be three courses. with sports facilities and shops, bars and restaurants very cleverly designed to blend in with the surroundings. This spectacular 5 star resort is the jewel in the crown for Polaris World.

Depending on how adventurous you are driving around this region is very easy, the infrastructure is excellent.
Places to visit are plentiful Mazarron is close by for the secluded and for the populated beaches. The mar Menor and La Manga strip has plenty of beaches water sport activities and night life in abundance.

Murcia and Cartagena are city's to visit which are steeped in history. The Sierra Espuna is a huge nature reserve and a place of beauty, its altitude varies from 260 to 1583 meters and is one of Spain's exemplary cases of reforestation.

10 minutes away in the car here you can cycle, go horse riding or walking and take in its splendour. Recently opened is a new water and safari park in Murcia and there are also pony/horse riding centres in the area.

Condado De Alhama golf resort is located off the RM23 motorway approximately 20 minutes from Mazarron's beaches and excellent shops and night-life. On route approximately 10 minutes away is Camposol Here you will find Golf, Shops, Supermarkets, DIY, bank, bars, restaurant's, take away including Chinese, Indian, Pizza, Chip shop, English restaurant, shoot some pool or do ten pin bowling and more.

“a home away from home- but with the sun and the pool!” Excellent apartment with all the mod cons that one would hope for. Lovely decor and bedding etc. The sun terrace is great. The owners have endeavoured to look after children with play station and good games, and DVD's for watching in the evening. The apartment is situated in a large luxury development with a fantastic golf course that I was lucky enough to play twice. The children were occupied with basketball and squash courts, quick dips in the pool[ it was November!] and exploring around the very safe complex. We definetly will return and I highly recommend both the apartment and resort. One small but- you will need your car to get around the area. Response: We are thrilled you and your family enjoyed your vacation in our apartment and glad to here you would like to return some day. The Golf course is now maturing into a fine challenging course and becoming very popular. The sports area has everything to keep the sports enthusiasts and young and energetic entertained. Hire of car is definitely favorable if exploring the region is your thing, there is so much to see close by including some amazing beaches.

“Home from home with the added bonus of sunshine” Excellent location, a few steps and a few strides to the normally quiet swimming pool, ideal for 2 energetic young children! Apartment clean and tidy and fully equipped including X box, TV, good selection of DVD's etc. Would thoroughly recommend for those looking for a relaxing holiday away from the crowds, and yet only a short drive away from the vibrant resort of Mazzaron. Will certainly be returning in the future (with golf clubs, stunning course on site!) Response: Thank you for your review. “Could not ask for anymore” This was our second visit and we have booked again for next year. The apartment is equiped as a home not a holiday apartment, for me the rooftop terrace was great for a quiet sunbathe and sitting out with a glass of wine at night. The resort has everything you could need, it was clean and well looked after. We would reccomend you hire a car as the resort itself is a bit isolated. The town of Camposol is only a 10 min drive away with a good range of restaurants, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Bulgarian and the good old Chippie. Good shopping at Murcia about 35min drive & the beach at Mazzaron is only 20min Response: we are thrilled you like our place so much that your now returning for a third time thankyou Dawn and Tony.
