Exceptionally well equipped country cottage in own grounds of 1/2 acre, situated on the edge of the hamlet Trehubert at the end of a short track, surrounded by fields and woodland with sea views from the upstairs bedrooms - not overlooked and safe for children with generous parking. Walks or cycle rides from the door, clean sandy beaches 5 minutes drive (30 minutes walk). A great place to relax and switch off but also within easy reach of restaurants, shops, and watersports. Excellent area for walking and bird watching and with Concarneau and Pont-Aven and many fascinating Breton villages within easy reach, this is a fascinating area to explore.

The Brittany / Finistere region
This part of southern Finistere is an area of many surprises. A blend of idyllic sheltered beaches, picturesque wooded creeks, apple orchards and quaint fishing towns give it a distinctive charm and along with its Celtic heritage and many historical sites of interest give you a great variety from which to choose to explore. As everywhere the weather can be unpredictable but this area is viewed as a micro-climate due to it's closeness to the Gulf Stream.
Concarneau / Tregunc area
The best part of Concarneau is it's lively fishing port and the Ville Close, or walled town, which is linked to the rest of the town by a fortified bridge and gateway - here you will find many shops and eating venues as well as an interesting Museum - also here is the point for various boat and fishing trips.
Tregunc is the nearest large village with excellent facilities and tourist information and a 15' drive will take you to Pont Aven with all it's art galleries, Gaugin museum and picturesque river setting.
A 5' drive away will take you along the coast and many spectacular beaches and coastal walks reaching the furthest tip of Point de Trevignon where you can enjoy a delicious crepe and Boule of local cider and watch the glorious sunsets.
Further afield our favourites include Pontivy, Quimper, Vannes, Brest, Foret Fousenant where you can sample excellent seafood at The Vieux Port, and the wonderful Parc Botanique near Pont-L'Abbe - also to be discovered are chateaux, and the typical small thatched houses.

1. Airport: fly to Dinard or Brest depending on where you are flying from - approx. 2 hours drive. 2. Cheap flights: available through Flybe, Ryanair amongst others. 3. Car Hire: various available from airports. 4. Railway: Quimper: 15 km 5. Nearest Ferry: Roscoff: approx 2 hours drive

A large sitting room with large comfy sofas and dining area overlooking the garden areas with French doors on to the patio. 3. A 5' double bed along with the en suite shower room. 4. A further separate toilet plus a further separate bath with shower, bidet and basin. Upstairs: 2 twin bedded rooms with 3' single beds with views to the sea and overlooking the garden and surrounding countryside. 5. Shutters on all windows and doors. 6. The fridge and freezer are combined, not separate
Further details outdoors: 1. Our cottage is surrounded by it's own land with plenty of space for children to run about safely and play games. 2. There is a good sized terrace with sunloungers, cushions, parasols, table and chairs for six people and a barbeque and rotary washing line. 3. Large parking area for several cars
