Self catering House which sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms but can accommodate 8 using sofabed.
The holiday home is within walking/cycling distance of some of the best beaches in southern Brittany and just a short drive/cycle to the town of Tregunc.
Nearby are the coastal towns of Concarneau and Pont Aven, with the central areas of Brittany also easily accessible.
Beautiful and unique 3 storey house at the end of a small cul de sac off a private track. The back of the house faces west and overlooks farmland with the coast and concarneau in the distance.
The'Neo Breton' house has been extensively remodelled and refurbished over the last few years and externally redecorated in 2012 to create a light, bright holiday property.
The large garden is mainly laid to lawns and is provided with outside chairs, an umbrella, table and sun loungers. A BBQ is also available for residents use.
For the more active, table tennis, bikes, Kayaks and a sailing dinghy are all available!

The house is on three storeys with the middle floor providing the principle rooms and is accessed intenrlly from the basement or up an external flight of steps. On this floor is the large living, eating and kitchen area with windows to the East and west enjoying both the morning and evening sun.
The kitchen is fully equipped for 8 people with a large table around which everyone can sit.
On this floor is the principle bedroom (double bed) the bathroom and seprate WC
On the top floor are two bedrooms, one with two single beds and one with two bunk beds.
The large basement has a seperate mini kitchen with fridge, freezer and sink and is equipped with outdoor cutlery, plates and picnic gear if needed.
The basement is also equipped with a range of games for indoor and outdoor use, a full sized table tennis table and a dartboard to keep everyone occupied when not out exploring.
The house is also equiped with a range of bycycles of all sizes and types which you are free to use at your own risk. A fully equipped 2-3 person Kayak and a laser sailing dinghy is also available at certain times for use if required but may be charged as a supplement to the main house and are only available for use at your own risk.
We make no excuses for not providing a TV, telephone or internet access, but there are plenty of books, playing cards and games to keep everyone amused (rules are provided to prevent arguments).
Hopefully you will enjoy the house as much as we do as a place to escape the daily routine and to chill out, to play, to laugh and to explore this beautiful part of Brittany.

The property is generally let on a minimum weekly basis but we do consider reduced rates for smaller parties out of peak season.
The garden is not fenced and is open to fields to the west. It is down a quiet road and relatively safe and free from traffic.

This part of southern Finistere is an area of many surprises. A blend of idyllic sheltered beaches, picturesque wooded creeks and quaint fishing towns give it a distinctive charm and along with its Celtic heritage and many historical sites of interest give you a great variety from which to choose to explore. As everywhere the weather can be unpredictable but this area is viewed as a micro-climate due to it's closeness to the Gulf Stream
The Concarneau / Tregunc area
Tregunc is the nearest town with excellent facilities and tourist information and a 15min drive will take you to Pont Aven with all it's art galleries, Gaugin museum and picturesque river setting.
A 5 min drive (or 10 min cycle) away will take you along the coast and many spectacular beaches and coastal walks reaching the furthest tip of Point de Trevignon where you can enjoy a delicious crepe and Boule of local cider and watch the glorious sunsets.
Concarneau is a lively fishing port. The Ville Close, or walled town, which is linked to the rest of the town by a fortified bridge and gateway, contains many shops and eating places as well as an interesting Museum. various boat and fishing trips leave from the town.
Further afield are the towns of Quimper, Vannes, Brest and Pont-L'Abbe. The historic village of Locronan with old stone houses, the villages around the area include typical small thatched houses, chapels and standing stones.
Lovely woodland walks around the rivers of Huelgoat, Pont Scorff and Quimperle.
