The Bothy is a traditional self catering holiday cottage located just outside the village of Comrie nreaby Tullichettle gardents. The Bothy sleeps up to 4 guests, with a double room and a twin room; there is also a baby room with cot available. Outside the cottage is a large garden area, and dogs are welcome by arrangement with the owner. The cottage itself has television, DVD and free wi-fi inside.
The perfect spot for those wishing to enjoy a rural vacation, with wildflowers and wildlife abundant year round. The village of Comrie nearby boasts some great restaurants and shops. The local Auchingarrich wildlife park with family fishing ponds offers a great family day out and a short drive in any direction will uncover the beauty of the Trossachs National Park.

Perthshire and the Central Highlands offers something of interest for everyone. Lots of family days out ideas from walking to visiting the local wildlife park, pony trekking, fishing at the Auchingarrich ponds, Golf for visitors at the Comrie golf club visiting some historical attraction like Earthquake house, Comrie or castles which are further away at Doune or Stirling, Glasgow and Perth offer a variety of activities. Crieff is 7 miles to the east of Comrie and has a library, leisure pool and a wide range of shops and eating places
Comrie is a charming, vibrant village. The village centre offers a good selection of shops including a butcher, baker, delicatessen, general store, pharmacy, post office and coffee shops.
There is also a very good spa for a holiday treat or post walk massage and several hotels with public bars and restaurants should you want to eat out.
A popular walking area in the Aberuchill hills and to Melvilles monument which stands majestically looking down on Comrie. Golf in Perthshire and you will be spoilt for choice of golf clubs, the nearest at Comrie and Crieff the old market town which has a range of outdoor activities available to visitors at the Crieff Hydro.
