An ideal location for rest and relaxation, Finca Tranquila is a private villa nestled in a sheltered spot on a hillside looking west down a valley towards the coast. The villa is approached along a lane through olive and avocado groves, there is no passing traffic, there are no close neighbours, privacy without isolation.
The villa sleeps 5 guests comfortably in 3 bedrooms, one double with en suite bathroom and dressing room, one spacious twin bedroom and one double, all with generous built-in wardrobes, each bedroom has it own entrace door off the hall. The en suite bathroom is light and spacious with bath, shower, bidet etc. The family bathroom also has a bath and shower etc. The villa is well equipped throughout. Set within its own grounds of over 1 acre, the garden is well tended with many flowering plants and shrubs giving superb colour and scent and is a haven for birds and butterflies. Unwind on sunny or shady terraces and enjoy your own private pool (6m x 4m). Terraces are well furnished with sunbeds, reclining chairs plus tables and chairs for alfresco dining

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The villa is situated 1 hour drive from Malaga, just 20 mins from Nerja and 15mins from the coast in eastern Andalucia. The Costa del Sol is the coastal area from here to Gibraltar a 2hr drive.
The area is diverse in its offerings to the holidaymaker, from remote mountain areas to beautiful rolling countryside. There are 20 or more top class golf courses in the area and are several good class marinas including the famous Puerto Banus situated on the western tip of Marbella; also the place for more sophisticated shopping and many classy restaurants.
Malaga, Marbella, Gibraltar, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda and Granada & Alhambra are all well worth visiting, all an easy day trip by car. For something different, it is also easy to visit Morocco by ferry from Algeciras, try Tangier or even Marrakech and Fez, trips by coach are available locally for all these destinations.
Competa area
The villa is situated in countryside between Torrox And Competa both are moorish white villages which retain their local character and are fairly unaffected by tourism while each offers several good bars/restaurants, and many small shops for bread and other provisions.
Nerja and Frigiliana on the other hand are more tourist orientated and offer a nice day out with many more restaurants to choose from. However as these are more crowded tourist areas, it is also nice to get back to the peace of the villa afterwards!! A 30 minute drive inland will take you into the mountainous region of the Sierra National Park for walks or a picnic.

Fly into Malaga airport. Cheap flights available year round with a range of companies from most airports. The villa is an easy 50km drive from Malaga Airport so a car is essential

Further details indoors: The villa offers easy access and is all on one level. Accommodates up to 5 in comfort. Clean well presented, well equipped and well maintained. Linen and towels supplied (not beach towels). On 2 week stays the house is cleaned and linen/towels changed on middle weekend. The pool is cleaned etc twice every week. A £20 starter food pack is included in price.
