About the home

Casa Eve is a modern villa with a large terrace and pool and amazing sweeping views towards the Mediterranean. It's close to several Moorish villages in the hills above Nerja and Torre del Mar, and only 30 minutes from the coast. It’s a great base from which to explore the majestic Sierra Tejeda hills, National Reserve and lakes. The area is popular with walkers, bikers and families who like to sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet of Casa Eve.

An attractive gateway leads to this charming villa. An impressive Spanish wooden door opens into the newly built property. Designed with your comfort in mind, it has been finished and furnished to a high standard.
A corner fireplace with wood burning stove is a feature in the summer, and a bonus for winter lets.

The Villa can accommodate 6 adults and a baby, cot and high chair provided. Casa Eve is a Home away from home a fully equipped kitchen and all linen, including towels and poolside towels are provided just bring your swimming costume the pool is large, the Villa secluded so if you forget to pack it don't worry!

There are two air conditioned bedrooms, one a double with en-suite shower room, and a further bathroom. The second bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes which provide ample hanging space and a racking system for all the bits and bobs. All of the coordinated bed linen and towels that you will need is provided.

From the lounge/diner there are two sets of double glass doors, which open onto the front covered terrace. A large patio set offers shade under the covered terrace, which also looks out onto the 9 x 4 meter pool and the superb views across the unspoilt countryside. Sit in the cool and enjoy the spectacular stunning views. In the evening, why not BBQ on the terrace, or sit and watch the twinkling stars and lights from the neighbouring villages.

The spacious and open plan living room gives you plenty of space and seating areas. Two sofas provide ample seating, and one of the sofas converts to provide a second double bed. Rest your drinks on the coffee table, play the games left for your entertainment or read from the library of books supplied at Casa Eve. There’s also a TV, with DVD and satellite.

The lounge expands into the dining area, and the dining suite provides seated dining for up to 8 persons. If you prefer to, why not dine in the American style fully fitted kitchen. This provides all of the facilities required, including a Gas hob and electric oven, microwave and dish washer, which means you don’t have to bother with the washing up.

The Andalucia / Malaga Province region

Costa del Sol has more to offer then sun sea beaches and bars such as the cultural hotspot of Malaga. Drink in the art and history of the Picasso Museum and visit the Picasso quarter. Visit the Cathedral and many colourful gardens take the opportunity to appreciate the best of Spanish architecture and traditions. Practice your Spanish and join in the fiesta enjoy the parades, so party on until the early hours and have your fill of flamenco wine and tapas everyone is welcome and encouraged to take part.

The Competa / Canillas de Albaida area

Amenities such as Bars, Restaurants, Supermarkets, Banks and Doctors are all within 15 min drive of Casa Eve at either Canillas de Albaida, Archez or the larger village of Competa. Restaurants in the area are varied and cater to all tastes, from traditional Spanish to English menu’s. You are assured of an interesting mealtime treat.

Shopping in Competa can be fun and exciting. From the trinket shops to the olive wood and jewellery offered, you will find that special piece of memorabilia.

The surrounding area is perfect both for walking in the mountains and other activities such as horse riding. The lovely town of Nerja, a charming coastal resort where the mountains meet the sea, is 30 kms away.

The old Moorish village of Canillas de Albaida lies 1 km to the west of Casa Eve, at the edge of the Almijara national park. Its small winding streets and pretty village square are like a picture-postcard, having changed little in hundreds of years.

To the east is the white village of Competa, also intrinsically Spanish in style and culture, with its bustling village square, excellent restaurants and pleasant outdoor cafes.

There are numerous golf courses for the enthusiast in the area, the nearest being Baviera Golf Club, situated at Torre del Mar, 30 mins away.

Leave the airport terminal or car hire pick up points and follow the only exit road. Follow the signs for Malaga, and after a roundabout, look for the landmark of the San Miguel factory on your right hand side. Follow the left lane for Malaga, Nerja, and Antequera which will take you in an Easterly direction. This lane takes you on an over-bridge which joins to the N340 coast road (E-15) running east. After 1km take the road which is signposted Motril, which is the N340 motorway and the Malaga City Ring Road. Travel along N340 for about 30 minutes along the Coast and leave the highway at exit 277 when you see the sign for Algarrobo. After leaving this road follow signs for Algarrobo, Sayalonga, Competa and Canillias de Albaida – this is the road you should follow. Another signpost will direct you to The Costa – do not go this way.

You are now on the mountain road and you will climb your way up through the villages of Algarrobo and Sayalonga. Do not speed, but drive carefully, and keep on the winding mountain road. After Sayalonga there is a sign indicating a left hand turn to Archez, 2.9 Km’s. From this point the road descends towards Archez. The left turn is very easy to miss and is on a sharp, right hand bend. If you miss the turn you will continue uphill and will soon reach the picturesque village of Competa.

Continue travelling downhill towards Archez. At Archez follow the road round to the left, across a bridge alongside the basketball pitch. 50 meters further on there is a right hand turn signposted Sedella. Take this turn and drive up the hill. After 1 Km you will pass a small Spanish bungalow with blue shutters on your right, and Casa Eve is situated just a little further up, also on the right hand side. A pair of brick pillars announce that you have safely arrived at Casa Eve. The wrought iron gates will be open, so drive in and park.
