About the home

A very rural and relaxing stone built bungalow is situated with in the grounds if a guestvhouse . Situated in the real Spanish country side. Lovely country views with a swimming pool and fantastic outside eating area. there are sofas in the garden and bar service is available all day. a real chill out location. just chill and take it easy in that hot sunshine.

The Competa / Venta de Palma area

One of the famous white villages of the Axarquia, Cómpeta glistens against the impressive backdrop of the Sierras. It retains its old world character as typified by the traditional municipal market, but offers modern facilities including several small supermarkets, bakeries, chemists, banks, swimming pool and an excellent hotel as well as some small pensions.Narrow streets wind around the village making a delightful place to take a stroll past the old houses with their flower filled balconies and perhaps stop for a small refreshment at one of the charming local bars.

Set in one of the most beautiful parts of Spain, Cómpeta is approximately 17 km inland from Torre Del Mar and Nerja and only one hours drive from Malaga Airport.

The surrounding area is mainly a farming community with many vineyards, olive and almond groves. The grapes are used to produce the strong wine for which the village is noted and dried to make raisins. The herb flavoured honey is another popular local product.

The Spanish people here are very friendly to foreigners coming to live in their village and make you feel welcome.
