Home description
Our 4 cottages and small campsite are set in a quiet countryside location, just 2 minutes from the village, yet conveniently only 10 minutes from our local town of Combourg. Each cottage has its own individual character with oak beams, cosy log burners, under eaves bedrooms and are well equipped with every thing you will need for your holiday. The cottages sleep 17 in total so are ideal for group bookings, but are also available individually with each sleeping from 1 - 5.

The Brittany / Ille-et-Vilaine region
There is something for everyone to enjoy... We are ideally located in the pretty countryside of Ille et Villaine, where you can explore the many peaceful lanes, forests and canals by foot or bike, yet central to all historic places and towns of interest such as Le Mont St. Michel, Dinan, St. Malo, Rennes, Fougeres etc. For the kids, there are zoos, parks, aquariums, treewalking, canoeing, sand yachting, to name a few, plus we are only a 40 minute drive from the fantastic Emerald coast and Cote d'Armor with their beautiful beaches.
Combourg / Cuguen area
Through out the year, but especially during the height of season, there are many attractions from traditional folklore,dancing and festivals, colourful weekly markets, concerts, guided walks to brocantes and braderies, As we live on site, we wil be able to advise on "whats on and when"
How to get there
Ferries to St. Malo, Cherbourg and Caen or try speedferries.com into Bolougne and drive Fly to Dinard or Rennes and hire car from airport Note: The roads from all the ports and airport are easy and very light traffic.

Further details indoors: Each individually furnished cottage has an open plan lounge/kitchen downstairs. The Granary, Mill 1 and Mill 2 have a double room and either a twin or treble upstairs. The Bakery has a double downstairs and shower room/ toilet on the ground floor,making it ideal for limited mobility, plus a twin on the mezanine floor.
Further details outdoors: Each have their own outdoor eating area with barbecue, table and chairs and share our large gardens and heated swimming pool with the other guests. From May to September there is a small cafe/pool terrace where you can have a night off and "eat out" or just sit and have a drink whilst watching the kids in the pool. Wifi internet hot spot available Large gardens, play areas, bikes, toys, games and books to borrow, animals to feed, friends to meet... a great place for families with smaller children.

The pool is open from May to September and heated from mid May to mid September, (July and August temperatures reach 28 degrees and above depending on the ambiant weather ) For your peace of mind, our pool meets all French safety norms for safety fencing and water hygiene, with monthly checks from DDASS (direction departementale des affaires sanitaires et sociales)
Conditions
During high season, the changeover day is Saturday to Saturday, but we try to be flexible off season and take shorter or longer stays arriving on the day of your choice. Long lets are available We are open all year round.

We have just ended the most fantastic 2 weeks and it is with heavy hearts we must leave! See you all again very soon. We enjoyed our stay very much. The heated pool was a big plus as was the animal enclosure, the kids made lots of new friends, leaving us time to relax! We have had a wonderful time, we loved the swimming pool, the goats and games we could borrow from the reception. We liked your personal touch, especially with all your daily recommendations of places to visit and the possibility of eating out in your little bar meant we could get back late and not have to think about cooking! You must think us very boring...... our 6th year with you and we will be back next year!
