Casa Keliad is in a small hamlet in rural Andalucia, set amidst stunning scenery with private pool and terraces. Breakfast on the terrace and watch the Spanish mule go off to work. Pick your own lemons from the tree for that refreshing evening drink on the terrace.
There are many bars and restaurants in the surrounding countryside, the nearest being a 10 minute drive. The village of Comares which is the highest in Andalucia is a 10 minute drive and boasts stunning views of mountains and sea. The picturesque Lake Vinuela is a short drive and ideal for those lunch time picnics.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
This area is ideal for those who want to holiday in the real Spain. Surrounded by stunning scenery amidst the olive and almond groves where the locals still farm their land using mules and goat herds roam the surrounding hills.
The area has a good record for sunshine and from April - October sunshine can be relied upon. Sight seeing visitors will find the Alhambra Palace in Granada less than an hours drive. Gibraltar is only 1.1/2 hours drive away.
Comares area
In the immediate area Lake Vinuela (20 minutes drive) is very picturesque and has a picnic and barbecue area by the lake. There are numerous restaurants and bars in the surrounding countryside and in particular the two restaurants by the side of Lake Vinuela are recommended.
Here you can sit and have a relaxing drink or meal overlooking the lake. Velez Malaga is a very interesting typical Spanish town worth a visit (15 minutes drive). There is a market on Thursdays in Torre Del Mar where you can buy your ceramics and souvenirs to take home.
How to get there
Budget airlines into either Malaga airport (45 minutes away) or Granada (75 minutes drive away) Car essential (4 wheel drive vehicle not required).
All major car hire companies operate from either airport.

Further details indoors: There are two bedrooms - one twin and one double - and a double sofa bed in the lounge. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath. washbasin and wc and the other with a shower, vanity unit, wc and bidet.
The lounge boasts a typical Andalucian style fireplace with a log fire for winter evenings.
Further details outdoors: The private pool 8 x 4m has a shallow end suitable for children. Sun beds are situated by the pool for your comfort. A built in barbecue by the pool is perfect for summer evening dining. Dining on the upper terrace is catered for with a large table and ample seating.
The area is ideal for walking and bird watching or horse riding which is available nearby. There are many interesting places to visit including the Alhambra Palace in Granada (75 minutes drive). Gibraltar is only an hour and a half away.
The property is a 50 minute drive from Malaga airport and only 30 minutes to the coast at Torre Del Mar. A 50 minute drive takes you to Nerja which is famous for its caves and beautiful beaches and coves.
