Finca Blanca is situated in the beautiful Andalucian Mountains. Completely south facing over looking olive groves and up towards the highest village in Andalucia (Comares). It is an excellent location in the winter months for walking, mountain biking and bird watching or if you prefer to just soak up the sun in our summer months. It is an ideal location if you wish to do some sight seeing of the surrounding cities ie. Granada, Cordoba, Antequera and Malaga. If it's PEACE and TRANQUILLITY in the real old traditional Spain your looking for ??? Believe me "THIS IS IT"

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

The nearest coastal town is Torre del Mar with a magnificent seafront and plenty of shops,(45min drive). From Torre del Mar you can take a 20 min coastal drive to the beautiful seaside resort of Nerja where the famous caves are. We are 35 mins from the centre of Malaga with it's own port and beautiful fishing village of El Palo.

Comares area

We are situated in Romo a small hamlet situated between three beautiful, traditional white washed villages, Comares, Riogordo and Colmenar. (20 mins drive to each one). All villages have there own character and plenty of restaurants and tapas bars to choose from.

There is a small traditional Spanish bar within easy walking distance of the Casita which is open everyday except Sundays where you can enjoy the local Tapas and drinks.

How to get there

Budget Airlines into either Malaga Airport (Aprox. 45 Minutes Drive Away) or Granada Airport ( Aprox 75 Minutes Drive Away)
Car is essential (4 wheel drive vehicle not required)
All Major Car Hire Companies operate from either Airport

Although the Casita is situated just behind the main house we have designed it in such a way that if you want complete seclusion then this is possible as we've tried to include every thing right down to your own private BBQ, alfresco eating, and parking areas.

We have an "Honesty Bar" located in a shaded seating area beside the Swimming Pool for the use of all guests if you so desire.

Roads in this area are all Tarmacadam (No rough tracks), but not for the faint hearted (please ask for details). However the views at and o the way to Finca Blanca are stunning
We request that you please do not smoke within the Casita it self, however we have no problem with smoking in all outside area's, ash trays will be provided upon request.

Conditions

We are flexible on the changeover day but arrival time would have to be after 3pm and departures before 11am however if this would be a problem please talk to us.
