Home description

Set in 7 acres of Olive and Almond trees the cottage has two large double bedrooms two lounges one of which can be used as a third bedroom a dining room full of character and a rustic kitchen with all modern facilities.

There is a well designed private pool and a number of terraces and seating areas.It is remote which adds to the feeling of peace and tranquillity. It is ideal for romantic breaks or holidays for the kind of people who like to be far from the madding crowd.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Although Casa Trujillo is located only 40 kms from Malaga it is a world away from the concrete jungle which is the Costa del Sol. It is approx 9 kms from the hilltop village of Comares which is steeped in history as are many of the smaller inland villages in this part of Spain.

A two hour drive will get you to Granada and a visit to the Alhambra is really worthwhile Seville can be reached in a day trip as can Cordoba, all with their own unique interests. The weather for the months of July Aug Sept can get very hot although because of the elevation (approx 800 metres) there is usually a breeze, just to take the edge off the heat. May and June are cooler months but the land will still be green and the flora stunning.


Comares area

Comares our local village is situated right on top of one of the highest hills in the area and can be seen from many miles away.

There are some good restaurants/bars where you can while away your time whilst taking in the stunning scenery.It also has all the shops that you would need if you didn't want to make a trip to the coastal area where all the major supermarkets are available.


How to get there

All the major airlines fly into Malaga from all parts of the Uk We tend to use Monarch,BA,or Easy Jet, all three have proved in the past to be efficient and reliable.Ryan Air fly from both Liverpool and Stansted into Granada which is an approx 2 hr drive but a small easy airport

There are many seating areas, courtyards and terraces so you can choose between sun or shade at any time of the day.


Conditions

We accept smokers if you must ! But a great deal of care must be taken as the land can become tinder dry in high summer.We will accept short breaks min 2 days for May June and October but not for July August September where the minimum stay has to be 7 days.
