Located in the centre of the village of Coly, this old Perigourdian house is a real gem. Exposed stone wall and beams inside, stone on the outside as well. Refinded decoration and high level of comfort. The house is just a few meters from the local grocery store in which you can find fresh bread and croissants every morning. Also just a few meters from a very nice gastronomic restaurant.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region

The Dordogne region is perhas the most complete region of France in that is offers beauty, pre-history (magnificent 13 000 year-old original cave drawings with Lascaux and Font de Gaume and others), history (the 100 years' war in the valley of the five chateaux), beautiful gardens (some of France's most beautiful gardens in Eyrignac) exquisite rivers such as the Dordogne and the Vezere river and of course, wonderful food and wine.

In the Dordogne, it never snows. Summers and nice and hot (it stays light until 10h30 pm) and winters can be either sunny and cool, or cloudy and warm but rainny.

Coly area

Sarlat is located 20 minutes from our home and is one of the most beautiful medieval villages of France. There are hundred of beautiful villages, romanesque churches, gardens. Markets take place in different villages every day. Famous Classical Music Festival in August.
