The Heart of England/Peak District

The landscape moves from the softly undulating, with stunning villages, to the vast arable areas of the Fens and the Wash.

Wildlife, fishing, cycling, walking, shopping, watersports, whatever your fancy, you will find it close-by.

Castles and National Trust properties are many and various. Burghley House, famous for its horse trials; 500 year old Belvoir Castle; Grimsthorpe Castle; Belton House and more are all within 15 miles.

Colsterworth

In a unique position, and conveniently close to 5 counties; Lincs. Notts. Leics. Cambs. and Rutland; the ancient village of Colsterworth has the National Trust’s Woolsthorpe Manor, birthplace and childhood home of Sir Isaac Newton, to visit.

A short drive away you will find historic and beautiful towns and villages such as Stamford, Oakham, Grantham, Uppingham and of course the majestic city of Lincoln.

Just 10 miles away, Rutland water is a must, there are superb cycle and walking paths and the first Ospreys to breed in England for 150 years! There are also many stunning 'hidden gem' areas in this vicinity.
