"Great Apartment with fantastic views"
We loved staying here. It's a beautifully comfortable apartment with views to die for. The area is fantastic for sight seeing with so much to see and do, that we ran out of time before we could do it all. Great Place. Great Holiday. Would go back tomorrow

I travelled for 6 weeks in Italy with my wife and close friends. We stayed at 'La Bellavista' and it was exactly as described; a truly beautiful apartment, comfortable, roomy, tasteful modern decor with unsurpassed views of Lake Como-forget about matching TV! Breakfast, lunch and dinner on the balcony with some excellent Italian red wines (for dinner at least) were a must . Just sit, talk and watch the world pass slowly by. Situated above the main road but away from any noise, this is a great location, plenty of parking which around Como, is normally at a premium. We had two cars, but found everything in fairly easy reach. Our owner and host, 'Rosie' was a delight and very helpful when it came to all the things to do and see in the area. Make sure you use Rosie's contact to hire a boat and cruise Lake Como. Neighbours were friendly although not sure they understood the Australian attraction to BBQ's! Yes, Rosie was once a chef, so she has thought of everything. Possibly the best equipped kitchen we have seen! Make sure you listen to Rosie's recommendations on restaurants, as a local she knows where to eat well. Would we stay here again-ABSOLUTELY. Could we live in this apartment-YOU BET. Thankyou Rosie

"Beautiful views, lovely apartment, a great stay on Lake Como"
We visited Lake Como in August 2010 for a short break in the sunshine. My Partner's Dad booked La Bellavista and we were not at all dissapointed when we arrived.
What really stood out for me was the level of detail that the owner had gone to, to ensure that visitors had the best stay they possible could. There were books of suggested trips, citronella candles, a dvd player, ipod dock, a barbeque, molton brown smellies in the bathroom, bbc channels, to name just a few home comforts that made our stay so comfortable!
The rooms were all tastefully decorated and the opportunity to open your french windows in the morning onto that scenery was amazing! We enjoyed several delicious home cooked meals out on the terrace whilst star gazing (pair of binoculars was provided) and watching the fireworks display taking place several miles down the road.
We hired a car and were therefore able to visit many different towns and villages around Lake Como as well as go on some lovely boat rides. We also visited a local bar a couple of the nights, there were no tourists but locals were very accommodating!
Our stay at La Bellavista was magical and I did not want to leave the beauty of the surroundings when the time came!! I would definitely recommend this apartment for all those wanting a relaxing break on the Italian lakes.
(My partner's Dad also noted that the directions to the apartment were very thorough and made our journey there a peice of cake - thank you!)
Thank you for your kind review, I am so pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. The location of the apartment is unbeatable with those stunning views and I glad it feels you are coming 'home' after a busy day touring the lake!
Best Wishes Rosie.
