This stunning villa is situated only 5 minutes drive from the island's most beautiful and most famous beaches, all of which are situated in natural parkland. Es Trenc offers 5km of white sand and blue sea backed by dunes. Colonia de Sant Jordi has a string of attractive beaches. The most beautiful sandy coves on the island are Mondrago, Cala S’Amonia and Cala Llombards. All are within easy reach. The villa itself offers superb 12 metre chlorine free pool with outside shower surrounded by ample both open and covered terracing and gardens with barbecue facilities,a full size petanque course, sun loungers, umbrellas etc. Everything needed for total relaxation.Three bicycles are provided for the more energetic.

The Mallorca/Majorca region

The south east coast of Mallorca provides some of the finest beaches in the Balearics. One of the most famous beaches in Mallorca is Es Trenc, with its 5 km of white sand backed by sand dunes and crystal clear water. This lies only 6km from the villa, as does Colonia St Jordi with a string of smaller beaches. Numerous Calas lie nearby, including Cala Llombards and Cala Santanyi. The national parks of Cala Mondrage and S'Amarador are within easy reach.

Colonia de Sant Jordi / ses Salines area

Ses Salines is 2km from the villa and Santanyi and Campos are 10km, all have weekly markets, various churches and art galleries. Colonia de Sant Jordi 8km is a small unspoilt fishing port where it is possible to rent various boats and take a trip to the island of Cabrera, which is a national park 8 miles by sea.

For sports enthusiasts, Mallorca boasts many golf course in all parts of the island and a number of courses are available within a 30 mins drive.

For those who appreciate the finer things in life, Ses Salines has 3 excellent restaurants and various other bars, supermarket, shops and banks. Many excellent restaurants are available within 10 minutes.

How to get there

Palma airport is 40 minutes drive and is served by a number of major and budget airlines including BA, Iberia, EasyJet and Ryanair.

Car hire is essential due to the rural location of the property.

Living/dining room with beams. Twin sofas, large antique dining table and coffee table. Satellite Plasma TV with DVD, CD player and surround sound.

Of the three bedrooms, two are en suite - and one is even equipped with a Jacuzzi bath!

Air conditioning upstairs only; however, downstairs bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans.

All towels and linen are included (not beach towels).
Property is cleaned prior to arrival and on departure and each week if for booking of more than 1 week.

Electric gates opening to a drive of 50 palm trees welcome you to the villa set in the heart of the countryside in a 3 acre estate of almonds, olives, lemons figs etc. yet only 2 kilometres from the local village of Ses Salines and just a 5 minute drive from local beaches.

As for the property itself, ample terracing surrounds a 12 metre pool with large covered pergola providing ample shade, barbecue and a music system, a garden abundant with flowers and grassed areas with many specimen palms. A number of sun umbrellas and ample sun loungers are provided. A barbecue is sited on the terrace for the alfresco dining and should this be in the evening then the pool is floodlit for that evening dip.

House swap considered outside of peak letting times for house of similar quality. 2 travellers only. Anywhere considered outside of Europe.
