Le Chene is a former village of 4 houses nestling within 33 acres of the rolling hills of the Perche Natural Park. National footpath GR 22 from Paris to Mont St. Michel passes alongside the property providing great scope for walking and cycling along quiet country lanes and forest tracks.

A good selection of restaurants are available in the nearby towns of Noce, Belleme, Remalard and Mortagne-au-Perche.

Enjoy complete tranquillity, without any light pollution surrounded by nature - the ideal place to unwind.

3 bedrooms sleep 6 adults comfortably. There is a double futon in the master bedroom providing sleeping facilities for two children.

There is also the possibility to place a single or double bed in the lounge with shower room & toilet en-suite.

Total maximum occupancy is therefore 8 adults plus two children.

The Normandy / Orne region

Home of the Percheron horse, The Perche natural park is an area of rolling hills, unspoilt countryside with many historic manor houses to explore and visit. The headquarters of the park is around 3 miles from Le Chene and offers a shop selling local produce and a lunchtime restaurant.

Normandy is the home of the horse and horse riding is widely available.

The Colonard-Corubert area

Fortified towns of Belleme and Mortagne-au-Perche. The castle in Nogent Le Rotrou is well worth a visit. Le Mans is around 1 hour distant by car.

Centre Parks around 45 minute by car and available for day visits.
