Villa Kubana KUB Tucked away in the hills of Colombier, St Barts, Villa Kubana offers unmatched peace and quiet and sweeping views over Flamands Bay and the outlying islands. With a distinctly rich and elegant Oriental flair , majestic reds and golds harmonize in perfection with the exquisite use of exotic wood, such as zebra wood and cumaru and make a striking contrast with some modern furnishings and the use of stainless steel lighting fixtures. The covered open air living area has large, extremely comfortable Dedon sofas with white cushions. The dining area has a huge glass table with a unique base and chairs. Adjacent is the kitchen with stateofart appliances, including a double professional stove, wine cooler, ice maker etc. The indoor living roomden is air conditioned and has has plush white sofas and wooden floors. One bedroom is located on this same level and the two other bedrooms are accessed by a central stairway that is an important focal point of the villa, beneath the stairway is a whimsical sandy area with large gray pebbles. The upstairs bedrooms have pale cerused French pine floors and teak beds, the bathrooms are all beautiful with Italian glass tiles and large showers. These two bedrooms each have their own private sun terraces perfect for relaxing. The pool is equipped with a current machine.This villa rents for the list price over Thanksgiving, there are no breakdown rates.

The Leeward region

St Barts, known as Saint Barthelemy officially and simply as Saint-Barth to the locals, is eight square miles of paradise in the north eastern corner of the Caribbean arc. Not far from either St Kitts or Anguilla, both of which can be seen on the horizon.

The Colombier area

Colombier forms the spine of St Barts, covering the central ridge of hills that run downs the centre of the leeward side of the island.As such, villas in Colombier, while exclusively hillside villas, can be close into the airport with easy access to St Jean and Gustavia, or on the far western tip, with sunset views and the island of St Martin in the distance.Colombier boasts the second most beautiful beach in the world...best accessed by boat, however for the more adventurous, a winding path down the hillside.The villages of Corossol and Flamands are close at hand and Colombier has the largest bakery on the island, ideal for fresh baguettes, croissants and coffee.
