Situated 800 metres from the centre of Collioure and the sea, our spacious 2nd floor duplex style apartment enjoys excellent views of the sea and the surrounding hills. Located in a small and quiet residential development, the apartment was originally owned by the architect. It's certainly one of the better apartments available to rent in Collioure & is in excellent decorative order. Free parking is provided for a small to medium size car in a private garage below the apartment. The complimentary usage of the swimming pool is available from 1 June until the end of September.
The apartment is fully equipped for year round living with modern electric heating (Really only req'd in January, if even) . Security is very good and there is a resident caretaker.
Please note that the apartment is on the second floor of the building which is accessed by an outside set of steps. There is no lift or disabled access.
Ideally located in the wonderful village setting of Collioure with access to beaches,vineyards and mountains. Easily accessible by public or private transport with private parking and shared communal pool (June-Sept.) Twice weekly local market with excellent local wineries and restaurants.Fantastic walking and cycling locally.

Ample storage is provided by several drawer units, built-in wardrobes and cupboards.
The bedrooms are especially quiet overlooking the rear private gardens and nearby hills.
The master bedroom on the upper level has a double bed. It has an adjoining bathroom with bath and shower and separate toilet/laundry room.
The second bedroom on the lower level has two single beds and its own shower room and separate toilet.
The living room has a double futon sofa bed.
Baby cot available for mezzanine on request.
The dining table can seat 6 to 8 people comfortably. A further table and chairs are available on the spacious balcony which overlooks Collioure and the sea.

Complex swimming pool available free from June 1st to end September. Parking is included in your very garage, which is imperative for summer months in the Village.
Ideal location for walking, cycling, fishing, beach relaxation, festivals, wine tours and markets.
In January 2010, the Beach of Collioure came in 3rd place in The Sunday Times hot list of the most attractive beaches in Europe. The Times highlighted Collioure's artistic and historic features as well as its classy seafood restaurants on the hills overlooking the bay.

Booking Deposit of €200/week required for all booking min 6 weeks in advance.
A security deposity of €500 is taken to protect the contents and conditions of the apartment.

Collioure boasts 360 days of sunshine each year and is not only a popular destination for Europeans but all nationalities including Americans, Canadians and the French themselves.
The Collioure / Collioure D'Amont area
15 Kms from the Spanish Border, Collioure is an ancient port set in the foothills of the Pyrennes. The small picturesque port is dominated by the Chateau Royale and overlooked by the Fort St. Elme. It boasts four beaches in the village while the sandy beaches of Argelles and Saint Cyprien lie to the north.

* By plane
Perpignan is the nearest airport to Collioure (only 30 minutes drive) with flights with Ryanair from London Stansted (all year round) and with Flybe from Birmingham and Southampton (seasonal).
Carcassone, Montpellier and Girona (spain) are 1.5 hours from Collioure. Ryanair fly to all three from London Stansted and to Girona from Glasgow, Luton and Ireland including Dublin and Shannon (seasonal).
Toulouse and Barcelona are two hours away from Collioure. Ryanair fly to Toulouse from London Stansted, BA and Easyjet from London Gatwick, Flybe from Southampton, Bristol and Birmingham.
BA fly to Barcelona from London Gatwick as does Easyjet from London Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, Liverpool and Bristol. You can also fly to Barcelona from Cork and Dublin with Aerlingus.
Also scheduled international airlines via Paris.
* By train
From London Waterloo Eurostar and TGV to Perpignan: daily service. Then local train to Collioure. Average journey time 12 hours. By the end of 2010 the TGV will extend through to Barcelona, look for updates on their website www.tgv.co.uk.
* By car
Motorways all the way to Perpignan then dual carriage way to Collioure. Allow 11 to 12 hours from French northern ports. Useful route planners can be found at: www.rac.co.uk & www.theaa.com. (Sat nav is still recconended!).

This was a spacious, light and delightful apartment with great views. It is very well equipped. Access to Collioure very easy along the ravine, which is one of the great benefits of this property. The Residence has a well kept pool for the summer months. We have made a booking for our return! |
