The township is steeped in history and you will be spoilt for choice of the many excellent, reasonably priced restaurants, artist studios and shopping .Stunning views and welcoming Catalan atmosphere .There is a choice of three local beaches all this within 5 to 6 mins walk.

This open plan apartment, is ideal for couples & families, With views into the foothills of the Pyrenees. Sliding glass doors open onto the south west facing terrace. A 5 minute walk into the town & beaches; this is the perfect holiday location.

Collioure and the surrounding area has a wealth of sights and amenities to see - The working fairy tale Castle city of Carcassonne, over the border in Spain, Barcelona that is only about two hours away by train direct from Collioure station, Plus the Costa Brava with Rosa’s bay and the many resorts is 45mins drive .

To explore you have Mountains, Vineyards Châteaux’s and Monuments. It's a walkers and cyclists paradise. There are many long sandy beaches at near by resorts, Marina’s and children’s amenities.

With over 300 days of sunshine a year, Collioure has been a traditional old fishing village since Roman times. Where the fishermen’s wives still stuff Olives with Anchovies.

It sits in the foothills of the Pyrenees where they fall to meet the warm Mediterranean Sea.
This village has something for everybody –. Collioure is famous for its artists. Matisse, Durain. Picasso spent time and painted here. There is a broad selection of working Artist Studios to visit, where you can purchase as well as look. Collioure is steeped in history. The large medieval fortress the Chateau Royal in the centre of the town is built on a prehistoric site & the beautiful Clock Tower which Winston Churchill I understand painted. There are many stunning small Towns along the coast if you travel southwards towards Spain the boarder 20 kilometres away. Or just have a lazy day sunning on the terrace and stroll down to the wonderful evening ambience of the Town with its cobbled streets. Close by there is Golf, Horse riding , Water Park.and of coarse Vine yards.Perpignan is 15 kilometers and has a wide variety of shopping and sights to visit.

How to get there

COLLIOURE is well positioned for the budget airlines.

PERPIGNAN, which is only a 30-minute drive, is the closest airport. Ryanair operate a year round service from Stanstead to Perpignan - Flybe also offer a service from Birmingham and Southampton.(seasonal). - Air France also offers a service from Paris to Perpignan.

GIRONA, over the border in Spain, the next nearest option is 1 hour 10 minutes drive away. Ryanair fly daily from Stanstead, Luton, Blackpool, Bournmouth, East midlands, Doncaster, Liverpool, Glasgow, Dublin and Shannon. As well as many other European cities

Sliding door to terrace. Double bedroom and further bedroom with full-size bunk beds. Bath with shower over and separate toilet.
