About the home

A spacious well furnished apartment in a quiet residential road. It has a modern fully equipped kitchen (electric cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine) and fully tiled bathroom with shower, sink and W.C. Furnished balcony offering a pleasant view and room for family meals. The apartment has a large double bedroom and lounge/dining room. A reserved car parking space is available by the apartment entrance. Linen & towels are provided. Sorry No pets.

There is no particular need for a car as beach shops restaurants and railway station are within short walking distance.

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Pyrenees-Orientales region

Languedoc Roussillon is an ancient region in the south west of France on the Mediterranean coast well known for its history of the Cathars and the Knights Templiers. It is renowned for its red and fortified wines. There are many co-operatives and vineyards to visit on the plain of Roussillon and the beautiful Pyreanean foothills to the south. The Spanish border is easily accessible by car or rail.

The Collioure area

Collioure is a picturesque medieval fishing town on the Mediterranean coast in the foothills of the Pyrenees and is situated 15 miles south of Perpignan. It has four beaches, a diving school with regular boat and fishing trips. It also boasts many delightful restaurants with views over the harbour and ancient castle. There are many local facilities with shops and a twice weekly colourful market selling a varierty of local produce including wines of the region and its famous anchovies. The town is most well known for its artistic history and is home to many artists and galleries.
