Perfect for couples. Feel the atmosphere of the old medieval village Colliure and enjoy the sun and crystal clear water at the beach right outside your door! Jump out of bed and go for an early morningswim next to the old ligthhouse and church while you still have the beach all for yourself. Go jogging around the old castle. The house is 400 years old but modern inside. Cars not allowed in this special area (carpark 200 m away) Try the famous catalan kitchen and the local wine in the small restaurants in the narrow streets, check the art galleries, drink a cup of coffee at the harbour overlooking the painted fishingboats and the bay. Visit the market every Wednesday and Sunday morning. No wonder Matisse and other famous artists found inspiration in this lovely place! (Apartment nr 19.271 (1.st and 2. floor) in the same house is also possible to rent (up to 6 persons)

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Pyrenees-Orientales region
The most sunny part of France, and not as commercial and overrunned by tourists and cars as the Riviera. Lots of cultural and historical attractions in drivingdistance: Perpignan is the regional capital with many cultural festivals and events. In Ceret nearby you find the Musee d'Art Moderne. Castelnou village, Tautavel (the prehistoric man), Carcassonne, the Dalimuseum in Figueres and the fantastic city Barcelona in Spain can easily be reached by car or train. A trip in the Pyrenees might include the Canigou mountain and a visit to Andorra.
Collioure area
This catalan village has kept its unique medieval character with narrow streets full of small restaurants, shops and artgalleries, is surrounded by beautiful landscape, lots of ruins and wineyards, a fishingport in Port Vendre with daily fishmarket, clear blue sea and broad sandy beaches at Saint-Cyprien-Plage, Argeles-sur-Mer and Racou, gorges and canyons in the Pyrenees.
Festivals: In July and August there are festivities and music.The main one being the week long Fete de St Vincent in mid-August with its spectacular firework display. Most evenings in the main season there is entertainment in the small squares.

Further details indoors: The apartment is placed at mezz. All new furnitures. High quality mattresses at bed and sofabed. 1 bedroom with a double bed, livingroom with a sofabed and 2 chairs. Bathroom with shower and separate room with wc. Modern kitchen. Electric oven. Fan. Street outside the house is not steep, easy to reach even by people not walking very well. Stairs with only 2 steps at the frontdoor.

A deposit of 150 euros is required at time of booking (non-refundable by cancellation), this secures the booking and acts as a damage deposit during your stay. Within 2 weeks after your departure, assuming no damage, this deposit is returned in full.
The main payment is required 6 weeks before arrival.
You can pay by all major creditcards through Paypal, or by banktransfer.
Electricity and water as well as tourist taxes are included in the rental rate.
Linen/towels are 30 euros per week per 2 persons, if you don't want to bring your own.
Cleaning after departure is 50 euros, if you don't want to clean yourself.
