Sun, sea and scenery - looking for that idyllic holiday? Well, this is it - our recently built home is in the perfect location. Nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenees , overlooking the historical, quaint, bustling coastal village of Collioure, it offers all the comforts of home from home within walking distance of all amenities.
Our home is a two bedroomed property which can accommodate six guests. A large open-plan living room and adjoining modern kitchen offers a choice of dining at the large dining table or at the informal bar counter area. There is plenty of comfortable seating with a three seater leather couch and also a sofa bed which can convert into a comfortable double bed at night.
Enjoy dining in style al fresco on the large terrace leading out from the living area. One double bedroom with terrace - enjoy the vista with either an early morning coffee or bedtime nightcap!
Twin bedded room with large built in wardrobes. Bathroom with bath/ shower and double wash hand basins. Also, toilet downstairs. Enclosed, sheltered back garden with dining facility and barbecue.

Our home is just newly constructed in a small development and is finished, decorated and equipped to a very high standard. It has a total living area of 68 sq. mtrs over two floors. The first floor comprises of a large open plan living room and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. There are plenty of kitchen units for storage and all the essential requirements for family cooking and dining. There is a bar counter for casual dining and for the more formal occasion or larger numbers the dining table will seat six very comfortably. For relaxing, there is a three seater leather couch and a two seater sofa bed - which also can be used as the extra bed at night. There is satellite television, including sky and other english speaking channels, dvd player and radio / cd player, which might just suit the children who like to play their Play Station or X Box. Also, downstairs, is a toilet and a small utility room with storage.
The second floor comprises of two bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, two bedside lockers and lamps, a chest of drawers and spacious built in wardrobe. The bathroom has a bath with a wall shower and a double wash hand basin unit.
The bedrooms and living room are supplied with fans and all windows have shutters to protect against that high season summer heat.

There are two terraces and a back garden, which are all equipped with table and chairs. The main terrace is off the living area and has a large dining table with six chairs and parasol. With sunshine from early morning right through to evening, breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed al fresco. The back garden is very sheltered and enclosed and provided with a table and chairs for four. There is also a Weber coal barbeque for summer evening cooking. For extra seating there are loungers and stacking chairs stored in garage. The terrace off the main bedroom has table and chairs for two - for that early morning cafe or perhaps a bedtime night cap while you look down on the lights of the bay of Collioure under the illuminated majestic Fort Elme. There is a garage at ground level with plenty of space to park a car and there is also parking space in front of garage for two cars.
For the energetic minded we have two adult bicycles for your use.
The communal swimming pool is just around the corner and open from June - September.

Collioure is a Catalan village nestled in the foothills of the Pyrennees as they sweep down to the Mediterranean. This beautiful area is renowned as the Jewel of the Cote Vermeille, boasting 300 days of annual sunshine - beaming down on this historical, tranquil idyllic location.
Originating as a sheltered, bustling fishing village, it's coastal location exudes a vibrant, colourful holiday atmosphere while retaining it's peaceful charm.
Wander the meandering narrow streets to explore the hidden riches of the variety of craft shops and art galleries and watch the artisans at work. On Wednesday and Sunday stroll among the stalls of the outdoor markets to appreciate the locally produced products. Discover the vast selection of restaurants, specialising in fresh fish and Catalan cuisine.
Relax during the day on one of the several beaches which skirt the town. For the more active, there are a wide variety of facilities - play tennis on one of the several courts at the local tennis club, swimming, diving, kayaking, cycling, hill walking, golf and boat trips.
Collioure is steeped in history - visit the Château Royal, built right on the water's edge in the 13th century and hugging the harbour is the 17th century Notre Dame des Anges Church. Overlooking the town is Fort Elme, an impressive landmark when lit up at night.
Celebrate the Festivals and Musical events throughout the year, culminating in the Festival of St. Vincent 14-16 August - renowned for its spectacular fireworks display.
In addition, for those who like to explore, take the local train or bus to Perpignan, a medieval city with great shopping facilities. An hour and a half away is Carcassonne, the famous restored medieval town and two hours away is Barcelona.
