Abruzzo Villa With Wonderful Sea & Mountain Views.
Visit Rome For A Day!
In an old hilltop village in the unspoilt Italian region of Abruzzo close to the emerald Adriatic Sea you can stay in our 100 year old olive oil farm which was restored in 2008 to a high standard. Laze on the beach, explore historic hill villages, climb around medieval castles, hike in the mountains.
The property is on the first and second floor accessed via the wide steps to the side (as shown on cover photograph)
Outside there is a balcony to the front with distant views of the mountains, and an extra large balcony to the rear with wonderful views across rolling hills, vineyards and villages all the way to the sea. One balcony gets the morning sun, the other gets the afternoon sun. Both wonderful for BBQ's on warm evenings.
There is a BBQ and patio table/chairs. Also a sun umbrella.
The beach is 20 minutes by car. Also possible to go on the bus. Lovely sand and very safe sheltered swimming. Typical Italian umbrellas and sunbeds are plentiful, as well as beach restaurants and Italian ice cream shops.
Golf is available at Miglianico.
Pescara airport is only 25 minutes away, or Rome or Ancona a couple of hours drive. A hire car is recommended but not essential as buses are good.
You can visit Rome for the day, either drive or bus from Pescara - it is a beautiful drive across the mountains mostly motorway.
Collecorvino village is 5 minutes walk.
Mountains (Gran Sasso range) are about an hours drive. Both the drive and the mountains are stunning.
From the house a 5 to 10 minute stroll takes you to a great restaurant, bars, supermarket, and the old hilltop village.
