About this group of co-located holiday homes

We rent apartments in an old still working Tuscan farm, half way between Siena and Florence, few miles drive from Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Volterra and Chianti area.
We are located on the top of a hill, in a very quiet spot that dominates a green valley.

Here you can enjoy the country with its beautiful landscapes, where you can still find pheasants, hares, foxes and partridges and you can see fireflies in the dark or hear crickets and cicadae singing.

We grow grapes, olive-trees, corn and sunflowers, so that the 300 hectares of the estate end up by forming a natural and coloured painting.
You can taste and buy Extra-Virgin Olive Oil produced in our own oil-mill and our “Chianti Colli Senesi” red wine.
All apartments have their own entrance, a living room with a fully equipped cooking area, one or more bedrooms and bathrooms according on the size of the apartment, an outside area with table and chairs and a parking place nearby.

Guests can choose between two different kinds of accommodations: we have apartments in the central part of the farm (the small village) where you can find also the reception and the swimming pool. And we also have apartments in a farm-house along the estate (about 800 metres far from the central part of the farm and the swimming pool) with a great view on the hills.

The 10 people accommodation is composed of a 6 places apartment ( a large fully equipped kitchen. 3 bedrooms for 2 people and 2 bathroom) and a 4 place apartment ( a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and one bathroom). All our apartments have out side area with table and chairs and a parking near the apartment.

Wwe are the perfect place for people looking for simply life, nature, culture and good food.

Conditions for this group of co-located holiday homes

A deposit of 30% of the cost of the stay must be paid at the time of booking, which will not be returned should the booking be cancelled.
Balance is to pay upon arrival.

Tenuta di Mensanello is located on the top of a hill nearby Colle di Val d'Elsa, a worldwide known city thanks to its main product: crystal. Its medieval historical centre is not popular but it is really worth a visit.

We are in a strategic position, the most popular and interesting cities such as Siena, Firenze, Volterra, San Gimignano and Monteriggioni are easy to reach in a short time.

Guestbook for 2 apartments for 10 people

This review is one year and a half overdue. But the memories of our stay at Mensanello are still vivid -- a family of 4 (two children 4 and 7), a second family of friends (with one 7 year old child), plus another couple. The two families ended up prolonging the stay from one week to 10 days. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by rolling hills; the farm itself is both authentic and modern, since the apartments we stayed in are newly remodelled and very comfortable; the swimming pool surrounded by flowers is breathtaking; and the geographic location is great to visit Siena, Monteriggioni (where a medieval festival was taking place), Pienza, etc.
