Coleraine

This cosy traditional Irish cottage is tucked away along the beautiful Causeway coastal route, just 0.5 miles from Ballintoy and 8 miles from Bushmills and Ballycastle. Storage is limited but it is such a compact, comfortable cottage you won't be disappointed. Only a few minutes away you find such wonders as the world renowned Giants Causeway, Whitepark Bay, Torr Head, Rathlin Island, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and the famous Bushmills Irish Whiskey Distillery. The stunning Glens of Antrim are less than half an hours drive and well worth a visit. The area around Ballintoy is exceptional for walking and the scenery is stunning.

The Causeway coast is rich with natural beauty and good places to eat. Great restaurants and traditional pub fare helps to replace the calories lost on the beautiful coast walks. The National Trust has protected many miles of beautiful walks along beaches that join cliff tops to headlands from where you can watch the flow and ebb of the great tides that sweep in an out of the Irish sea from the North Atlantic. Fishing is rich as is the sea bird life on Rathlin, reached by regular daily ferry crossings or with fast RIBs that offer tours of the area. Some of Ireland's most famous golf clubs such as The Royal Portrush are only a few minutes away from your base in Ballintoy. To the south the majestic 7 Glens of Antrim are only half an hour away.
