"Beautiful scenery, fantastic wildlife, cosy cottage"

The cottage was great, everything we needed: clean, cosy and the cctv of badgers and otter in the evenings was wonderful. We are quite into our wildlife so the site was perfect for watching hares and roe deer, bullfinches and yellowhammers. Jacuzzi bath, comfortable bed and log fire were lovely to come back to after some long walks around St Abbs, Eyemouth and Berwick-on-tweed, and only an hour from Edinburgh so even pandas and koalas are within easy reach!
Emma and Peter were on hand to make sure we had a nice stay and gave us a heads up about when to watch for the nocturnal wildlife. This has been one of the best holidays we've had and we will be booking again soon!

Thank you for your kind review.
We are delighted that you choose to spend your honeymoon with us.
Many thanks for the photos.
We hope to welcome you back to Press Mains in the future.

"A perfect retreat :)"

The bothy cottage is absolutely lovely. My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights, just looking for a quiet weekend away. The bed was comfy, no problems with any of the facilities, everything was straightforward and easy to use. The views are lovely, and there's plenty of wood supplied for the log fire. The cottage was exceptionally clean, I am a bit fussy about cleanliness and I was really impressed! Another thing that made our stay at the bothy so enjoyable was the fantastic customer service we received. Emma came by to check we were happy with everything, and she couldn't have been more welcoming. It really does make such a difference! She accommodated us with a late check out as she had availability to do so, which we really appreciated.

We're going to go back in August, and I doubt that will be our last visit. I can't recommend this cottage enough.
